They have tons of different flavors of ice cream. Sandwiches were good reminded me of the kind you'd make at home. Friendly staff.

Alex's Restaurant is a locally owned full service restaurant for over 40 years serving breakfast lunch or dinner anytime. Our large menu offers choices from grits and eggs and pancakes to hamburger steaks and gravy, salads are always an option plus freshly made sides, soups and desserts. We hope to see you soon!
What can I say? Alex’s is a Goose Creek institution as far as restaurants go. Have I ever eaten better food? Maybe, but not often.
This is the place you go when you can’t decide what you’d like to eat, because they have everything.
I’m not gonna lie. I miss the old days when Alex’s was open 24/7. I’ve laughed and I’ve cried at 2 or 3 AM there plenty of times. It was THE overnight place to eat as well.
I love their hamburger steak with gravy... the rice/gravy... the squash... the Lima beans... their spaghetti (I believe that is served on Wednesday’s,) so many things to enjoy... the fried pork chops or flounder are also nice.
For breakfast, any of it. I like their corned beef hash breakfast, but it is all good.
Is Alex’s fancy? Heck no. But if it was, it wouldn’t be Alex’s. This is a place you can kick back and talk to friends in for 3 hours, and they don’t try to kick you out.
Definitely stop by to be treated like family while you enjoy a meal.

Really only go here when they have their buy one get one half off coupons come in the mail. Good lattes. Love the salted caramel. Wish it was a drive thru, might go more often.

Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted very fresh. Food great price, great portion. Drinks are tasty and inexpensive. Cozy atmosphere. Could work on the service, lack of communication. Free regular drink refills but if you dont want a refill you need to tell them as soon as you get a drink otherwise kids will have 5 sodas in an hour, our waitress did not ask if we wanted refills just brought them. also you pay at register upfront. We waited 15 minutes before we were told that.

Sun's Up, We're Up! We start early so our customers can have the biggest, freshest donuts! We source our ingredients locally, and use the best available! Our coffee is roasted locally, and it tastes great! Stop in for our daily Specials!
Good donuts have returned to Goose Creek. The original owner of this donut shop made outstanding donuts. The shop closed on his passing. It has recently reopened under new ownership. The new owners are making the best donuts in Goose Creek. They cost a bit more but are well worth it. They are nice. They serve coffee if you stay to munch on your donut buy. They make their product on site the evening and morning before so everything is very fresh. Go Back. Need you ask. Great donuts.

I live within 6 minutes of this restaurant and work in Mount Pleasant. It's so nice to come home and have a place to dine with delicious homemade soup. I didn't try the croissants yet. Next time. Definitely recommend the Baked Potato Soup on a chilly night and the Hot Turkey dinner. The Halloween Decorations were an added bonus made me feel at home ! Great bartender service too! This is my locals favorite list now.

We were staying in a hotel just down the road and wanted to check this place out for a carry out, due to finding out they offer garlic as a topping (few do, sadly). Excellent pizza for the most part, no complaints, definitely check this place out!

We usually get wings, which are great but went with hamburgers this time. Very good.. Cooked perfectly medium, thick, fresh meat, juicy. Also ordered the fried grouper bites which were better than any fish you get down the road at Gilligan's seafood.

Food was good and plenty. Two critiques.... tarter sauce..make your own giveing tarter out of a package is bland and you know you can do better. Other is frozen fries.... real potatoes cost you less and they taste fresh...plus they now have a slicer that goes right into the grease...no one should be serving frozen fries any more. Thanks for the good food!

After a busy day, we decided to eat out instead of cooking dinner. Our decision was easy.........Sushi 101. Central location, easy parking, warm welcome, and great service coupled with some wonderful choices in sushi make this the place to eat. We opted for the Spicy Rock roll, Tuna and Salmon Nigiri (over rice). Yummy. Add a glass of wine or saki and your meal is complete. A must try if your in the neighborhood.
