Sono's high quality food and service provides you with the best Japanese 'fine dining' experience in Brisbane. The atmosphere and interior design is spectacular, it makes you feel like you're in Japan! The service is of the highest standards and can never be faulted.
Most importantly the food is superb. I have dined at Sono Restaurant numerous times, specifically for teppanyaki and the lunch bento boxes.
The teppanyaki joint is ran by experienced and charismatic chefs, an experience filled with lively entertainment and beautiful dishes. The chefs are extremely skilled and can't wait to show off their tricks and cooking style.
The lunch bento boxes are gold! Each stunning dish is a gem of its own with the best of all flavours that complements and represents the diversity in Japanese cuisine. I keep going back for the bento box, there is nothing quite like it and you won't find anything nearly comparable in Brisbane.
10/10 with Sono, I have never had a disappointing experience.

Ioesco translates as ‘I am going out’, a fittingly momentous title for one of Gold Coast’s premier Italian restaurants, Ioesco - Cafe Cucina Bar. The likes of Gordon Ramsay have graced Ioesco’s stylish dining room, where sparkling chandeliers, a marble bar and water views are tempered by a relaxed vibe and alfresco Seating in the tranquil Sanctuary Cove surrounds. Passionate and knowledgeable staff work the floor delivering contemporary interpretations of classic Napoli cuisine that, happily, don’t compromise on size or quality. Moreish starters such as duck breast with Marsala mushroom cream sauce offer perfect preludes to mains like Barossa chicken breast with king prawns, avocado and garlic brandy cream sauce as well as spinach and buffalo ricotta ravioli with Napoli cream sauce.
Stunning decor with great ambiance. Lovely tables with luxurious leather seats. As a vegetarian I enjoyed a divine wild mushroom rocket salad starter which was beautiful with goats feta and a truffle balsamic. For main I was blown away by tortellini Gorgonzola with walnut rocket cream sauce. Very rich in flavour which I loved! My husband said the limone veal was amazing and our friends thoroughly enjoyed their meals too. Staff and hosts were very attentive, polite and eager to please. It is really a very special place for dinner. It may be our new favourite.

Went here for lunch last week with the family to celebrate my birthday. The food is really good value and typically Japanese where it comes out on a little tray with the soup and salad. It's BYO wine too! There was a slight mix up with my order but it was quickly resolved.

Punjab Curry Club at Wellington point is an authentic Indian Restaurant. We specialise in both modern indian and authentic indian food. Our food is cooked keeping in mid the English taste.
Fantastic attentive service, beautiful decor and stunning food. We have now tried most of the menu as this is our go to destination for dinner out and it is all amazing food. The Naans are delicious and the food is moorish.
A great place for a family dinner and also for a romantic dinner for two.

Every element of the award winning Bacchus restaurant has been designed with indulgence in mind. Head Chef Massimo Speroni's menu showcases a modern outlook on classical dishes and a commitment to quality ingredients and depth of flavour.
Had the breakfast buffet on the second day of a business trip. Fantastic range of options, with the option of made to order eggs. I ordered some poached eggs which came out perfect! Fresh juice, flavoured milk, and made to order coffee available. Plenty of hot dishes to chose from, only minor issue was not a great range of pastries to select from.
Would highly recommend if staying at the Rydges having breakfast here at least one morning.

Cafe Alfons is open for breakfast and lunch 7 days from 7am. This high profile cafe is perfectly positioned on the prime Eastern corner of the Chevron Island village strip. It boasts a broad menu, while maintaining an uncomplicated selection of breakfast favourites and signature dishes to appeal to every palate. Cafe Alfons is also well known to locals for consistent, smooth tasting coffees and homemade cakes.
Staff are excellent and friendly. However the breakfast menu is full of eggs and creamy type things. It would benefit from a greater variety of dishes. The food we had was ok although the bacon was undercooked. However I got a case of food poisoning and was very ill before I got home and was sick for the whole day. Care with food is necessary in this heat!

Thoroughly enjoyed the banquet here. Every dish was amazingly tasty and original, presented beautifully. Staff were efficient, friendly and their recommendations were perfect. Each of the dishes, from entrees to desserts were truly awesome and definitely will return to this great local restuarant.

Found this place whilst driving through the back streets. Glad that we stopped in for breakfast. The omelette was filling and full of flavour whilst the pancakes were accompanied by an assortment of toppings that ensured even the fussiest of small children would find something to eat. Large outdoor area where children could be noisy within disturbing others.

We did the crowd source thing ourselves to see what Trip Advisor had as the #1 place on the GC, we were only staying around the corner, teeming rain from the tropical cyclone, but undeterred we ventured in.
Great idea.
We did breakfast before meetings.
I had an omelette, and I love omelettes, so this a staple.
OMG job - best omelette I have ever touched - simply stunning doesn't do this justice.
The better half had a breakfast bruschetta, which looked amazing, and from her plate being bone dry at the end, I'm pretty sure it tasted as good as it looked.
Really good coffee - Melbourne on the GC.
Well worth the visit - French influence is spectacular here.
Take the time to head to this one.
Enjoy
