Everything about this restaurant is superb. I will take it over the fanciest restaurants in Manhattan. This time I had the hanger steak which was tender and perfectly cooked.
Tried the 3 soup sampler and it was great. My husband had the trout and loved it.
The service is phenomenal. They watch you carefully without being obtrusive.
The menu has so many offerings so there is something for everyone no matter what kind of diet you have.
Also the decor is quite nice and we had no problem with a noise level during dinner.
The owner oversees everything and is lovely.
If you are anywhere in the area, or even if you are not, this is a must visit.

The steaks cannot be topped. The problem is the restaurant's attitude toward reservations. You can arrive on time only to wait a half hour or more. Half of the tables are all booked for the same time. That means a line of cars waiting to get into the lot, and a line of diners trying to find room to stand in the restaurant while regulars are seated first, and then, in the fullness of time, everyone else.

Taken straight from their business card and takeout menu! So do they set the standard in traditional Indian cuisine? Yes they do and surpass their cuilinary mark for serving their customers with well made, well prepared and service. So many Indian buffets start out with a great turnout but time usually wears them down. No not this Indian buffet...they serve out yummy foods with their weekend buffets. Don't forget to look at their menu for there are so many entrees you can choose from equally as tasty as the ones on their buffet table. The buffet is just a sampling of their yummy cuisine. Check out my pictures and you'll see what I mean. The service is friendly and warm while the decor is comfy. Their prices are reasonable and of course everything is delish! Happy Eating and I'll see you on the buffet line whenever I have a craving for curry on the weekend!

We have been going to Filomena's restaurant for over 30 years and have never had a disappointing experience. Mario, Frank and company will accommodate your every need and respond positively to any request. We have been there with family and friends and no one has ever complained. An exceptional neighborhood restaurant.

I have visited this restaurant many times over the years. The food is great and this visit was no exception. We ordered the chopped baked clams as an appetizer and the veal parmigiana siciliano for our entree. Both meals were delicious. Make Cara Mia a definite stop and enjoy good Italian food. Manga!!

Why? The food is well prepared, consistent, always have new specials to make it interesting, the ingredients are always fresh and the staff makes sure you are well fed. It's always a treat whenever you finest King Umberto's, you feel like royalty because the service is friendly, warm which makes you feel you are dining with family. Old world charm meets new world nuances, oh so delish! The restaurant is divided for the casual pizza side and the fine dining side so you make the choice. If you choose the fine dining side, remember to make your reservations because it does get busy! If you desire old world food made like nana, yes you will find it here and if you want fancy smancy Manhattan-esque flair with excitement, yes this place will rock your culinary expectations. Most of all, you feel satisfied feeling like you really had a great meal. Happy Eating and I'll see you around the table from time to time. Capeche?

Mediterranean/Continental/Restaurant
The village of Floral Park is home to many excellent restaurants, but Crabtrees, who gets its name from The Little Rascals, pleasantly surprised me. The restaurant was elegantly decorated for the holiday season, the bar area was lively but not too loud, and the management and service was superb. But I came here to eat, and eat i did! The food was outstanding. The chicken tenders came with two sauces, and left no annoying aftertaste. The fried mushrooms, calamari, and zucchini were delicious, and the tomato and mozzarella was better than I expected. My tilapia, accompanied by beets, vegetables, and mashed potatoes was delectable! And the steak was perfectly cooked. The carrot cake, apple tart, and chicolate mousse cake were as good as you can get. Don't pass this place up!

We ordered a Mocha cake and a vanilla/chocolate cake for a company party. The box was labeled "Mocha" but it looked and tasted nothing like a Mocha cake. Some thought it was a cake with a coffee taste, others thought it was a Tiramasu, but it was definitely not a mocha cake. Both cakes were terribly dry and lacked taste. It was quite a disappointment. We brought the cakes back and were hoping management would offer us two new cakes to replace these bad ones, or a store credit. Much to our surprise, they said No, there is nothing wrong with these cakes. What kind of customer service is that? Everyone at work threw the cake out. How good could these cakes actually be if after one taste they were all in the garbage. These cakes were not cheap. It cost $40 for the both of them. Obviously the management has no training in customer service and keeping the customer happy. We are a large corporation and this bakery just lost a lot of business that could have went their way if they did the right thing by either replacing the cakes with what was originally ordered or at least offered a store credit. That's a terrible way to do business, which they just lost ours. I do not recommend ordering from this bakery.
