Chat ‘N’ Chill® is the original party venue on Stocking Island. We facilitate and cater private events and weddings, and operate a bar and restaurant that is open 11-7, 363 days per year. We empower you to have a one of a kind beach adventure, complete with (but not limited to) stingray feeding, volleyball, and nature hikes. Come sample our authentic Bahamian cuisine and enjoy our island oasis!
We arrived on Saturday to join a sailboat and were anchored in George Town. Sailed over on Sunday for the pig roast, but had researched and sent one person over by water taxi to get tickets as we had heard that it sells out. The beer was cold and beverages were generous. The pig roast was delicious and the atmosphere was family/beach bar. We did get to see the sting rays too. Unfortunately, the conch salad was not available, but we would definitely return to try it.

We had lunch to try out this place for the first time on our seventh consecutive yearly visit to Great Exuma. Although the food was good, the service and attitude of servers was by far the worst we've seen over the years in Exuma. A total lack of interest in you, almost as if we were bothering them by being there even though there were only two more people in the restaurant at the time. We will definitely not go back.

Not a big tourist spot, but the waitress was very nice and the food was decent. Heavily fried food, but good if you want to get off the beaten path and watch some Bahamian news at the bar. They have a huge party deck on the beachfront, but you have to eat inside due to the flies.

This the only place in Exuma you’ll get a decent coffee and bagels with cream cheese. A lot of the foreigners get their breakfast here. The hotel across the road will be opening a coffee shop soon that will be competition for this place.
There’s like 4 small tables that seats 2 and a big square table that’s more communal style Seating.

A beautiful indoor/outdoor restaurant on the beach (you'll want outdoor seating). We went for the special on a taco Tuesday. I've never had fish tacos as good as theres!!!! We ate there twice, and on a weekend evening they had a dj. Great alcoholic drinks as well.

Came to this restaurant whilst visiting Exuma after Reading the reviews and wasn't disappointed. Bit of a walk from central George Town (about 15mins), but very worth it.
My only negative is that this restaurant is obviously catering for the holidaymakers, and felt a bit like the cliche restaurant for the tourists. It occupies the same space as a number of other more slapdash bar and grill type places that my boyfriends confirms were just as delicious (jerk chicken/coconut shrimp etc), but half the price.

the menu offered a welcomed break to standard Bahamian fare. Our lunch was tasty and the wait was not too long. The airy structure was pleasant, nestled between the bungalows and next to the pool. The service was friendly. What stood out the most: the excellent chocolate crepes!!!

This place is amazing! We had our Christmas dinner here, and it was the best meal and best service of our entire 2-week trip on Great Exuma.
You must have a reservation to eat here, as they book up WELL in advance. We tried to come back a second time and could never get another reservation. The service was outstanding. The restaurant itself is very pretty and has a nice view by the pool.
While it is pricier here than anywhere else on the island, it is worth it. This is the only place on the entire island for upscale dining. I had a seafood linguine dish to die for. My son had chicken strips and fries. My sister-in-law had a steak dish that she said was the best steak she'd ever had. My husband had a caprese chicken dish that he loved.
You MUST try this place out while on the island!
