12 of us were one of several large groups on the Saturday night we visited. They have a fixed menu for large groups. I had the ribeye -- OMG it was huge! And delicious. Looking forward to returning for date night!

This use to be our go to breakfast restaurant. But, over the years, we have seen the facility become dirty. The owner's excuse is that it needs remodeled. Yes, it does, but old fixtures has nothing to do with the filth you see all around. The booths, walls, floors, bathroom, etc. I love their French toast, and there is no one else that makes it quite like them. Too bad, as we won't go back.

We stopped at this coffee shop on our way north for a break and a coffee. It was similar to a large Starbucks except the food selection was much larger. My Cappuccino was delicious and my wife's Moka was as well. The staff (mostly young) were very hard working and the service was cheerful and prompt. Should we travel through Galt again, we will certainly stop there.

Sister location to The Squeeze Inn in Sacramento and Tracy.
Everybody I know loves Squeezeburgers, at least once they tasted one. The Galt franchise is no different and the burgers at their new location on Twin Cities Road are perfect. However...for some reason (cost?) they decided to change their French fry recipe or the actual product. Where the fries in their old location were excellent, with good old potato consistency and flavor, the new product is virtually flavorless and almost tastes like artificial potatoes. Now I'm a guy that thinks McDonalds and In and Out fries are delicious, and don't care for the fries at Burger King or Jack in the Box. So, whatever side of that coin you're on, you can guess where Squeeze Burger fries fit, in my humble opinion.
I'm all about those great burgers, but for now...I'm passing on the fries. Hence the 4 instead of a 5 rating.

We go to T2 Yan for their lunch specials and for dinner take-out. Their food is consistently hot, fresh, and generous. They use an excellent selection of vegetables in their dishes and are very good about special requests (I ask for no onions and they get it right for me. The lunch specials include soup, wonton, egg roll, rice or chow mien, and a main dish for a very reasonable price. I always have enough to take home for lunch the next day.

I've eaten here a couple of times and enjoyed the variety and freshness of their selection. The food tastes great and has wonderful presentation. Many of their more expensive items have qualified as two meals for me.
Recently, I ordered take-out for my staff. Galt CPA, and every order was correct and well presented in their boxes. A couple of the staff eat sushi at the more expensive locations in Elk Grove and Sacramento, and they enjoyed the taste also.

Carrying on a 21 year tradition of delicious Italian Family recipes served in a relaxed atmosphere of casual comfort. Steaks, Seafood Dishes and Salads complete the array of choices.
Wholey Ravioli is a family owned restaurant located in Galt, CA. It is owned by David Fortuna and his Family. Known for their Traditional New York Italian Goodness cuisine, it was inspired by another family Restaurant known as Fortuna Restaurant in Niagra Falls, NY. Fortuna’s specializes in Southern Italian food and opened in 1945. The third generation of the Fortuna Family is now running this restaurant.
Wholey Ravioli opened in 1995 and are serving food that the Fortuna family has been serving for over 60 years in their kitchens. Even though I have seen this sign as I traveled Highway 99, I never stopped to try their food until a business associate told me he just loved the food they prepare in this location.
The restaurant recently did a renovation which makes room in the front of their restaurant for people to stop by after work for a snack, desert of glass of wine. A wall partition in the front has photos taken by Jenna Fortuna during a trip in Europe, and she is an avid photographer and also plans on starting a travel blog soon.
Head Chef and Owner, David Fortuna, makes his own focaccia bread, most of his salad dressings, his superb red sauces and so much more. Their red sauce is prepared 3 ways, including vegetarian, meat sauce and mushroom. All three are rich in taste and texture, but the meat sauce is my favorite. If you like mushrooms, their mushroom sauce is packed with small mushrooms cut in half, so you can enjoy the taste and freshness of the mushrooms in every bite of pasta.
Today I stopped in for lunch and ordered a small spaghetti dish with salad and focaccia bread. I was served by the owner’s son Matt Fortuna. The bread comes with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, but they also have other marvelous bread dips including my favorite pesto with olive oil and lots of cheese. They have a nice selection of wines and also deserts if you have room at the end of your meal. The dinners are four courses that consist of the entrée, salad, soup, and desert, with a serving of their fresh baked bread.
The best deal in the “house” is the take out menu. Many lunches are only $4.99 and their Super Sized Family Trays (they are HUGE) serve about 10 people and are mostly $21.00 with a few in the $24.00 to $30.00. Most of their menu items are also available for take out.
Next time you are in the Galt area, or traveling towards Sacramento on Highway 99. Stop by Wholey Ravioli for a very tasty Italian meal.

We used to frequent El Rodeo while living in the area. It was good food served in a taqueria style restaurant by very friendly people. This is definitely NOT your stylized, Americanized Mexican food. This is very similar to the food I eat when in Mexic each year. The prices are reasonable, the food plentiful and tasty. The décor is very basic, but that's not what you go here for! Go for the Food!!! But just Go!!!

If you want your Mexican food cooked for gringos go to your chain restaurant. If you are interested in authentic Sinaloan cuisine that is very tasty and not your usual Mexican menu you should try this restaurant. There are a few formica tables to sit at and your could be the only native English speaker in the house but if you come for anything but the food you might be disappointed. If you are interested in a great eating experience this is the place to try.
