Il Pizzico features Italian cuisine offering fresh locally sourced ingredients prepared using time honored Italian guidelines
We stopped by on a Thurs night. We didnt have a reservation so we decided to just order an appetizer and wine instead. We order the Grilled eggplant bundles filled with smoked mozzarella and ricotta and tomato sauce. Delicious! The white wine was Italian and unknown to us but it was very good- crisp and refreshing. Il Pizzico offers a full menu with a nice variety of pasta, meet and fish selection. They also have a nice wine, beer and cocktail menu. The servers are all very friendly and attentive.

I have followed TripAdvisor recommendations dozens of times all over the US and have only felt that they were wrong three times, and this was one of those times. My wife had beef shish-kabobs, which she ordered medium, but they were overcooked. I ordered lamb shish-kabobs medium and mine were not only overcooked but the flavor was terrible so I was unable to eat all of them. We ordered from the children’s menu chicken nuggets and fries for our grandkids, and their food was fine. In fact, my four year old grandson gave me a chicken nugget and a few fries and I enjoyed that. I will probably never go back but if I do I may order chicken nuggets for myself.

GAR's favorite beach house serving coastal and classic food making every day a vacation. Flip Flops, optional.
Coastal flats has delicious food! Their bread is amazing and food is consistently good. My husband and I went for dinner on Friday at 8pm and it was slammed. Our meal was tasty and the service was prompt, maybe too prompt. We felt very rushed and hurried out of the restaurant. I understand it was a busy night but by 9pm when we had finished there were very few people waiting and it felt unnecessary to have rushed us.

Except for 6 more restaurants, we had eaten in the top 20 restaurants in Gaithersburg (per ratings of Tripadvisor reviewers). Since this restaurant is one of the remaining 6 restaurants, my friend and I decided to eat here today, February 4, 2018.
The entire building has the restaurant and Bar/Beer house. The latter is located at the Ground Floor while more seating areas are on the second floor as well as the kitchen. We were greeted by smiling staff as we entered the building.
We ordered fried calamaris for our appetizers, Paella and Ahi Tuna dish for our entrees and beverages. The total of our bill is $72 that includes tips.
Our server named, Nathan is excellent, always checking on us and asking about our needs. The other staff members were helpful and nice. The restaurant is modern and clean.
OUR FOODS: I did not know that they are Cajun-based and thus are all spicy for my taste buds. The fried calamaris have hot peppers and thus after 4 bites, I stopped eating them. My Paella has all the proper ingredients such as rice, shrimps, chicken, beef, clams, tomatoes, etc. However, it is very spicy as well.
To remove the spicy taste in my mouth, we ordered the brownie with ice cream. They helped remove the spicy taste in my mouth!
We shall not go back to this restaurant because of their spicy foods. Had we liked spicy foods, we would definitely go back and dined at this restaurants due to reasons mentioned above. Do dine here if you like spicy foods!

We regularly visit this small Japanese restaurant and are never disappointed. The sushie and rolls we order are an assortment with shrimp, salmon, eel, calamari and avocado. The restaurant is always crowded especially for the week day lunch buffet, an excellent value at $14.95.
We got the orders within 20 minutes. The dishes are elaborately presented and served almost making them pieces of art.
It's worth driving even 50 miles for a visit.

This is a go-to place to meet our family for dinner because of the location. While the other four members of our party seemed okay with their dinners mine was awful. My lobster tail was under cooked (ugh) and the steamed broccoli was mush, cold, and tasted like fish. I was so disappointed not to mention still hungry upon leaving.

This was a return visit with out of town friends. We loved the warm bread and dipping oil. The salads were fresh and sized right. My wife and I enjoyed our veal piccia and marsla, respectively. Maria, our waitress was happy to substitute angel hair pasta for spaghetti in my order. The house chianti was a good complement to our meal. Our friends enjoyed their penne con broccoli. The mini cannolies which came with the specials were taken home to be enjoyed later. Maria is to be commended for being so accommodating in all our requests.
The grille was quiet when first seated but as it filled up it became noisy. Good value and many choices.

A new vision from the new Mediterranean Award-winning Chef Yiannis Loukakos comes back to America with the cuisine of a modern Mediterranean. Chef Lucacos, one of Greece’s most famous and beloved chefs, is a true ambassador of a culinary philosophy that emphasizes simplicity, and seeks to create a playful discourse between local ingredients and elements of Mediterranean cooking that speak to the senses.
Two couples met for dinner on a Friday night. This was our second time there in the past four months, Everyone's first comment was about the uncomfortable chairs and we all figured we would not linger long. Salads and wine were terrific. Dinner was good but one order of lamb chips was overcooked - not good for a $35 entree. By the end of dinner the room had gotten rather loud so, in lieu of dessert, we opted to go elsewhere for drinks and conversation. We really want to like this place and add it to our rotation but it has not earned that honor yet. we will try again in a few months...

Julio's is my daughter's favorite restaurant and we celebrated her return to college with lunch at Uncle J's during Sunday brunch time.
We started with guac made at the table. It was a very automated process. We couldn't get any sort of response from the preparer, she just made the guac and left it on the table. She probably had someplace she would rather have been.
My wife and daughter ordered chicken fajitas. The skin and some of the peppers were burnt and the chicken a bit dry. I had the spicy seared ahi tuna. It was room temperature and not spicy. Rather bland, now that I think of it.
My other daughter ordered the Jalesco: shrimp, chicken and beef fajitas. The shrimp were served on my wife's plate. We corrected it.
The waiter, Adrian, was pleasant and fairly attentive. Never asked about the meal. Just served, refilled drinks, and off he went.
Unle J's was a destination for us. This may have been an off day for the staff. The total meal cost $116. Hope they improve their service and food.
