Delicious at a reasonable price. The quality of beef was very good. Picture menu was available. Other meats were also available.

I tried the sausage curry rice.Much more spicy than the normal sweet Japanese curry. The sausage was nice and full of herb flavour.Be there when the store open or be prepared to wait around 30 mins for your lunch. Wastage of food is grown upon in Japan and in particular this restaurant where they have a sign reminder tourist. Overall, a decent place to have lunch in Furano town. If you like omu(omelette) curry rice & feeling particularly hungry, try that! It looks delicious!

Service was good with polite staff , the milk pudding is not to be missed and it's worth the trip . Do expect a long queue as the place is usually packed .

We were a family of four and seated at a traditional table where we sat on mats, though there are tables with western styled chairs. We ordered the burnt garlic ramen which was different other ramens we have had but the fish/pork based ramen was our preference. Very reasonable pricing and if you are driving there is a parking lot just beside it (on the left side of the restaurant).

My group of 4 ordered the raw beef bowl, seafood stew and 2 different plates of sausages.
The raw beef bowl was excellent and we ordered a 2nd helping. The stew was very good and the sausages were average.
Overall recommended for a meal stop when in Furano.

This cafe is located inside the forest, near New Furano Prince Hotel, and within a short walk from the hotel. Because of its popularity there is always a queue but generally it doesn't take very long to get a table.
The environment is very peaceful, with a bar where you can see the barista preparing the coffee, or you can sit at the other side looking at the forest and trees. We got a nice window table and enjoyed the view of all the greens which is very soothing.
We ordered the coffee and cake set, including a slice of cake and a cup of coffee. I had the white sponge cake with white chocolate coating, called 'Real Snow'. The texture is very soft and fluffy, while the white chocolate is sweet but not overly so, overall a wonderful dessert on its own.
The coffee is decent, but there is not that many choices. For a coffee lover it would not bring any wonder, and maybe this is the opportunity for the cafe to consider. But overall I still like it very much, and recommend others to try.

Is is a sushi restaurant in downtown Furano.
Four of us ate our faces off for about 110,000 Yen..ie under $30 per person. No beer mind you, but we demolished 44 plates full of delectable, fresh sushi, including some fancier ones like uni, ikura etc. Great tasting crab soup.
Everything perfectly fresh, well presented. If you want to watch a sushi master cut fish in front of your eyes, this is not the place, but if you want to taste some pretty exotic fare without breaking the bank, PLUS not wait for a ll9mg time, this is it. They even had beef and ham sushi, for those squeamish about squid tentacles.... BUT, you simply have to try the giant hotettegai (large scallops) that are local speciality, as well as the flounder.

Well, i guessed it depends when one visits this place. we were there at the end of summer so the ice cream melts in front of your eyes real fast. Its pricey but then again look at how much they are selling the whole melon (6900 yen) in the market or airport! Again as tourist, you have to do what a tourist do - just try it!

5 mins walk from train station, in the restaurant district. Tried the spicy ramen and the popular char siew ramen, both have tasty broth and ramen with excellent texture. You will get to choose the level of spiciness, i was advised to take level 2 instead if level 5 which i had chosen. It was not that spicy afterall, however, the chilli oil will make the soup a little too oily if i had up the level. Partner loved the char siew, said that it was very tender. Service was prompt and friendly. English menu available. Free flow of iced water.

The Jingisukan (meaning lamb BBQ in Japanese) restaurant was proudly introduced in Hokkaido Michelin Guide in 2012. Drive and take Furano national highway, for about 20 minutes, you will easily find the best view of Furano along the way. As you enjoy our delicious BBQ lamb at the balcony seats, you can take the time to appreciate the beautiful hills and spectacular views all around you. You can not only do the Hokkaido style lamb charcoal BBQ but also relax in the nature of Hokkaido at the same time. Yes, that's what we try to serve you: An unique dining experience. We have also been introduced by the Hokkaido TV channel and ranked the No.1 Restaurant because of our great taste of lamb as well as the wonderful view.
Business period & hours 4/29-10/9 11am-5pm. We dine in on a weekday, no queue, my son love to feed the sheeps.
We order special meat 150g with onion 970¥; original meat 150g with onion 850¥; rice 200¥; vegetables set 400¥ Bean sprouts, mushrooms, capsicum & carrots; draft beer 500¥. It was so soft, juicy taste without the mutton smell.
They teach us the correct way to cook & eat Genghis Khan, with their friendly service the price was well worth the money cum the awesome Spring view. Highly recommended & definitely will be back to Furano for this.
