Got both cherry and lime. Perfect Italian ice. Reminds me of the stuff we used to get in Philly as a kid. Service was quick. Highly recommend.

There are lots of Greek restaurants in Bayside. For meat dishes, our favorite is Avli. It has a warm, casual atmosphere. We enjoyed humus for appetizer (much better than store bought) and gyro sandwiches for entrees. Love their gyros. Ordered a side of lemon potatoes - delicious!

We were well aware of this place even before arriving in the neighborhood. We went around 11 AM on a Monday for an early light/late breakfast. Was not too busy and we were seated right away (although things picked up in the restaurant later on).
Of course we got the showcase soup dumplings, but we also got scallion pancakes and vegetable dumplings. The soup dumplings were the "soupiest" either of us have had, certainly at least in North America. The vegetable dumplings were good in their own right, also steamed, but it made us feel a little less guilty by letting us eat greens. The scallion pancake were fine.
Be sure to have cash, and use the various sauces and vinegar to jazz up your dumplings.

its seems a bit unorganized, very small space to have two lines with walk space in between....mall table area not a guarantee to get a table have to wait on line to get a table,no room for the line when it gets long, people at the tables what to stay and talk deep conversations over pastries and coffee that means tables stay full for sometime before it will be your turn on a long line...evenings and weekends it can be a bit frustrating especially if you are with children, make reservations a must! time it exactly after a movie if you attending one....if you want to go without reservations go at a down time, like mornings, or mid afternoon perhaps or us just order out and eat like no one is watching guiltfree,as far of the pastries blondies are delicious, fudge brownies, strawberry shortcake is good, plain cheese cake, coffee delish but all a little pricey, takes good patience to wait but line goes outside, not good on a hot day or cold day standing outside,it needs better organization, maybe get a bigger place with more tables,i have to call it as i see and experienced.....enjoy how you can LOVE

Located in Corona section of Queens it’s a bit off the beaten path but the restaurant is worth the trip. Make reservations well in advance the place is always packed. The food is outstanding. Healthy portions are provided. The service is old school and professional. Nice wine list.

Best bagels, hands down in NYC. This shop is one of the last remaining bagel places that make bagels by hand, using the old method. The bagels are fresh, chewy and scrumptious. There is an array of flavors, perfect to suit any taste. A newly renovated seating area inside is perfect for someone who wants to linger over a cup of coffee and my only advice is to arrive early because the line is incredibly long. They open very early.

The Japanese and sushi are good. We never had a local hibachi place. They put on a great show and the food is delicious. We have had hibachi twice. The desserts are also excellent.
Sushi is very good.
Seating is extremely comfortable and the ambiance is excellent.

This is one of our top favorites. It offers casual fine dining in our neighborhood. The owner is renowned chef Maria, winner of the Chopped TV chefs competition competition.
We enjoyed grilled octopus (cooked to perfection) and Greek salad for appetizer; swordfish and lemon potatoes for entrees; and an interesting Greek dessert recommended by our waiter, for dessert. The specialties are fish. They are fantastic!
