Early Bird is a relatively new coffee shop in the heart of Frenchtown and definitely worth a visit. Freshy brewed coffee, quality teas, and light snacks! In addition there are some unique foodstuffs and gift type items for sale.
The staff is pleasant and highly competent; the décor is spare and clean...stop in for a real treat.

We make the hour long trip a few times a year specifically for the Arugula pie. The pizza here is ALL top notch and I'll usually sample a one or two but the Arugula is the one we take home.

Have passed this place several times and even stopped for ice cream which is not part of the restaurant. After a soccer game was rained out on Mother's day we stopped here. The place is small and we had a short wait. They apologized several times for the wait. The owner was there and made you feel very welcomed. Something lacking in too many places today.
Ordered from lunch menu. Portions were sizable bordering on large. My husband had a grilled Mac n cheese sandwich specialty. Not for anyone on a diet but oh so good. I had a grilled chicken paint with roasted pepper and mozzarella and pesto. Very fresh and delicious. At first I saw this huge sandwich but the bread is deceivingly light. I almost finished it all. Daughter had chicken fingers (surprise surprise) which were as expected. Overall we liked everything we had.
The dinner menu looks great and cannot wait to try it. Will definitely be back. Also look forward to trying their other restaurant Marinellis down the road.

Maria's has excellent lattes and mochas, a perfect treat on a rainy afternoon. The bite-size fig cookie was so delicious that I was tempted to order additional ones (next time!). The restaurant is popular with the locals; most other guests seemed to know one another and the staff. A coffee at Maria's was the perfect way to take a break from strolling this picturesque river town.

Stopped at this cute little cafe midway through our bike ride. Breakfast was delicious. Had the hot mess. Enough for two in my opinion. My favorite thing about our breakfast was the delicious hazelnut cinnamon coffee. Best I've ever had. Will return next bike trip as our halfway reward.

Unlike many restaurants the dining room here is not cramped full of tables - which leads to it being a fairly quiet place to enjoy a meal. You will have time to enjoy the nice setting, as there is no hurry to the pace. We...MoreThank you for your kind words and positive review. We appreciate you visiting the Frenchtown Inn and look forward to your return.

Bamboo House is tucked away on 12th street in Frenchtown - there was ample parking on a Saturday evening. The Food was excellent - noodle dishes were flavorful, Thai basil Chicken was great, and the lemongrass Shrimp was to die for!
I had Thai Chicken with green beans, and loved it. The veggies are cooked just right, sauces plentiful, portions amply sized. Our friends had the mochi ice cream and found it had a deliciously chewy crust.
Young waitstaff is quick and friendly and eager to make your stay enjoyable. We brought our own wine, and they offered glasses, willing to serve it.
All at a reasonable price! We had a great evening. Our vegetarian friends had so much to choose from that they have it on their family WOW short-list of restaurants to go to. I plan to come back OFTEN :)

We ate with 4 of our friends. Evan, the waiter, was a delight. The food was very good. We all tried different things. We will definitely return to try more.
