An independent family owned business that specializes in home cooked meals and desserts. Riverside Family Restaurant has been open for over 22 years.
This place is good for older people on a budget who are looking for quantity over quality. Interior is "dated". Large servings of mediocre French fries with most meals. Bones in walleye fish! Large variety of pies, but they are not much better than some frozen ones. Neither meals, nor pies are heated up warm enough.
Good view of the river from the back windows. Prices are modest.

Great big cone of great flavors of ice cream, what more can you ask for, oh yeah and burgers and fries and pizza. Nice throwback place for all you that remember the old "Malt Shops"!

This place is as casual as you can get! I had a pork prime rib. Served with a maple barbecue sauce. It was delicious! The sides were a small baked potatoe and a sour cream tomato/cucumber salad. I really liked it. My wife had tomato soup. It was truely homemade, with a variety of tomatoes, a hint of basil, and just a touch of heat. She loved ir! For desert we had apple pie. It taste like fresh apples, baked in a coffee cup, with a disk of pastry on top. The cup was served on a saucer with whipped cream on top. Very nice plating, and saved a few carbs.
When you come, realize the menu changes often, that tou order and pay on the way in, and you are seated family style. As I said it is very casual!

Appreciate the usual menu with a wide choice of food selections. They also have daily specials that are extraordinary with a wine or beer pairing. Attentive wait staff. Great coffee, and amazing desert choices. The only place around that has wonderful crusty bread made at the restaurant. Enjoy the outdoor eating choice in the summer. We can plan on a $100.00 bill, so we dine here for special events, only.

First visit. Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and amazing food. Good beer selection too. I had the club sandwich and wife has steak sandwich. My club was stacked so high, see photos, that you can hardly open your mouth that wide. IT was delicious. Wife loved the steak sandwich as well. We both took half home for lunch tomorrow. Lots of Tv's, high tops and regular tables and large bar seating. Also have an outside deck and bat. Can't wait to go back!

From being a young girl going to the original location... to going to this location after they moved... we have always been a fan!
Previous owner passed several months back and a loyal employee purchased the business so it could live on!
Clean and easy location.
Generous portions of the Classic Mooney's Ice Cream!

Remember the TV show, "Cheers"? That is what The Log Cabin provides. A place where "everybody knows your name, and their always glad you came". This is good food, good fun and good fellowship. Whether you want to meet friends, watch the game on big screen TV, or just chillax, The Log Cabin is the place to go. Hope to see you there. Maybe for Trivia Night, or a family gathering, you will have good food in a relaxing atmosphere.
