This restaurant is always one of our go to when we are in Frederickstead. All of us order something different and no one has ever been dissapointed. Their stew goat or stew anything, is the very best around for certain. We love the owners and are so happy to see them annually. Servers are also great and very attentive. I would advise Reservations as they get swamped on the weekends.

The Beach Side Café at Sand Castle on the Beach Hotel offers open-air, seaside dining with spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea. Our varied menu offers fresh-catch seafood specials along with American favorites and local flavor. Thursday through Monday, service begins for lunch and dinner at 11am and continues throughout the day until 8:30pm. On weekends, brunch is served 10am until 3pm, and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays our outdoor grill serves up burgers, dogs, chicken and Mahi sandwiches. Throughout the week, our bar and lounge serves classic cocktails, draft beer and mocktails made from fresh local juices. Sunny lunches and moonlit dinners topped off with house-made desserts await you at the Beach Side Café.
Stopped in for lunch on our last day on the island and were very disappointed. Dining beachfront has appeal, especially with a great view of the surf and sea. But a 50-minute wait for our meals and drinks that didn't come until we reminded the staff we'd ordered them made for major annoyance. The fish skewers with dry, dry, dry cubes of mahi mahi were practically inedible an no sauce or even lemon wedge was offered. The saving graces were the nice coconut rice and tender, well-seasoned collards. The watery ham special had a gunky sweet chutney-like topping. We didn't finish much, as waiting so long made us loose our appetite. And it took forever to get the check.

The Blue Moon...Where jazz has a home! Located on the beautiful Frederiksted waterfront for the past 30 years, we serve hearty and homey Caribbean-inspired, cajun-influenced food! Enjoy live jazz Wednesday and Friday nights during season, and also during Sunday brunch!
The restaurant is set in one of the historic buildings near the pier, which creates a fantastic old Caribbean ambiance and seemed appropriate for their creole menu. The kitchen started us off with freshly baked, hot bread, and everything we ordered was fantastic - especially the cajun fettuccine. However the serving staff didn't seem to have the same attention to detail. They were extremely slow to bring drinks and the table was set with stained linens and dirty flatware. We wondered how well the server knew the menu too, as she couldn't offer any helpful descriptions about the food. The prices were steep for this type of food, so I would expect a better overall experience.

Off the beaten track, located one block form the Frederiksted Pier, Lost Dog Pub has been a St.Croix institution for over 20 years. See why are voted best Pizza, Sports bar, Karaoke and most entertaining bar staff. Unique decorum, eclectic jukebox, darts, foosball and always sports on T.V. We love parties! Yearly events such as our all night Jouvert pajama party, St.Patricks, a week long celebration with our legendary parade float, Prom fundraiser and our 4th of July Pizza eating competition. Every 3rd Saturday is Karaoke and on Thursdays we do crafts. Affordable fun menu. Our pizza dough is made in house daily and tossed and rolled out per customized order. Open every day and always open very late. Cool casual vibe, awesome pizza and family friendly. Come for the pizza. Stay for the party!
We spent a few days on St Croix and ate at the lost dog by suggestion from a local . The pizza was tasty and inexpensive, and the staff was fun and friendly. The atmosphere is entertaining and busy. Make sure to sign in on the ceiling and have a few cold beers. We will be back next summer!~

We were wandering around the streets of Frederiksted on Christmas Day looking for a place to eat when we stumbled upon this place. We had a blast sitting outside on their very quaint little patio. The staff were all happy, chatty, and engaging and the food was quite wonderful! I had the ham and cheese omelette and it was quite delish. We met several people sitting outside and had wonderful conversations with each... it was just a fantastic experience!

Turtles has the best sandwiches. Whenever we visit STX, Turtles is a must stop during the trip. The sandwiches and bread are freshly made and we often get two meals out of them as they are very thick. It is a place we look forward to going to every trip!

A waterfront neighborhood cafe in downtown Frederiksted serving breakfast and lunch 6 days a week...
St Croix is open! Go visit! This is a must-stop place for quality food at decent prices. Everything we had was tasty and the service is top notch. Near the pier with great views of the water.Thank you for the awesome review and for reminding everyone know to come back to St Croix. Yes, we are still cleaning up, but the water is as beautiful as ever and many of the Beaches are back. Come back to see us.

Casual beachfront restaurant bar with a cool vibe, amazing food & friendly staff. Menu consists of Tacos, burgers, salad, sandwiches, hand cut french fries and onion rings. Also nightly dinner specials which usually consist of Ribeye, Fresh fish, pork chop and local beef. Breakfast is served Saturdays and Sundays from 9-12. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights live music is played from 6-9, Sundays 1-4!
On our recent return trip back to our beloved St Croix, I couldn't wait to visit one of my favorites...Eat at Cain Bay. They have rebuilt the resteraunt. Note: as of 3/21/18, the dive shop was destroyed and is currently under construction.
Had dinner with another couple. I had crab cakes with grilled fresh veggies and rice. Veggies were perfect ! An A+ there. Rice was also good, served hot and well seasoned. The crab cakes were OK. My friend had two apps for dinner. ( fried shrimp and grilled tuna (cooked rare ). An A+ there as well.
The menu is still limited. Not sure if that was by design or availability of grocery options. I do miss the finer menu option they had in years past. Specifically, steamed mussels, grilled sea food of wide varieties.

Every year we vacation in Frederickstead and this is always our choice for take out one evening. Their pizzas are outstanding and we truly all enjoy them. There are lots and lots of choices which are all fresh and excellent. Do expect a bit of a wait as they only make their pizzas when you are physically there and order then. We have never sat down to eat inside but will always continue to have our take out pizza night from them
