An upscale cafe with a selection of foods made in house from soups and salads to sandwiches to a variety of dinners including certified black angus steaks, pork chops, garlic roasted chicken, salmon and shrimp. We offer a nice variety of desserts changing with the seasons.
We hadn't been here in a while, so it was a treat to have Sunday lunch here again. The menu has been expanded, and it looked like they have many great new items. I can't wait to try something new, but we were there for...MoreWow! Those are some very nice comments. Thank you. It's nice to hear how positively guests are responding to our restaurant. We all appreciate it.

Husband, grandson and I ate there April 3, 2016, so I will review that. But, honestly, we have eaten here on at least ten occasions, and it is consistently very good. Our favorites are the crawfish etouffee, fried oyster dinner and fried shrimp dinner. All of the food is fresh and seasoned perfectly - a little spicy, but not too much so. Hushpuppies are always great. Staff is friendly and is more than happy to customize anything you want. One difference we have noted between Wayno's and other seafood restaurants is that they give you large portions of the fish. We really dislike it when a restaurant serves a huge pile of french fries and puts just a few oysters or shrimp on top to make you think you are getting a lot. We have always been very happy with our food at Wayno's and feel very lucky to have such a great cajun restaurant within driving distance. It is always a treat to go to Wayno's.

I enjoy coming here for lunch and especially enjoy the mocajete (sp?) rancheros which is large enough for me to eat there and still have enough to take home for 2-3 more meals (the left overs are fabulous in scrambled eggs!). They also make a mean peach margarita! However, be careful if you order the big one!!

Besides the great (family) service, LaMotte has a great offering of homemade lunches, dinners and desserts. I would highly recommend the chicken & dumplings, the cheeseburger and chips, and the meatloaf!
Has some outdoor seating under umbrellas; also has limited indoor seating (which is intentional - as this is a "Carry Out").
Wonderful establishment that I highly recommend!

Was surprised to see on the door that they only accept cash or checks. We are here on Friday night for dinner and were lucky to get a place to sit. They have a salad bar so I got that for vegetarian options. My DH got a hamburger steak and baked potato. Ordering from their Senior meal choices we spent 19.45 for dinner. The sweet tea was good. I liked the coleslaw on the salad bar because it was a sweeter type and I'm pretty picky about coleslaw! I would eat here again.

Wasn't busy at all for a Saturday morning. Service was a tad slow but then it is all cooked to order. Food was delicious, hot and plentiful.
Also had brats from here on Friday. Called ahead to make sure they had plenty on hand and it was no issue at all. The brats were great.

The Pig BBQ has been an integral part of Madison County for over 60 years. We got history!
I've been eating at The Pig literally all my life. It's a landmark in Fredericktown and people drive from all around the area to enjoy a combination. Under new ownership, the restaurant has undergone a facelift and the food is better than ever! If you're heading to Fredericktown or driving through for the big eclipse, you have to stop in and grab some good BBQ!

Visited here while visiting family. The place is clean, the food is good and the service is even better. Had a great meal and a great time.

We were travelling thru Missouri and stopped at the Dog-N-Suds in Cherokee Pass, MO. This restaurant has been there for a very long time! Unfortunately, you have to know it's there. The highway now is a by-pass and doesn't go right in front of the restaurant anymore.
The restaurant only has seating outside. It happened to be a beautiful day and we got out of the car and stretched our legs and sat at a picnic table. They aren't a "fast-food" restaurant. They cook it all fresh, so it takes a little while to get your order.
Everyone in the car (all 7 of us) were pleased with our meals. They are a little pricy and don't have combo's anymore,. My husband got a root beer and I had the diet root beer, we thought it was wonderful!! I don't know if you can still do this, but in the past, we've bought a gallon jug of it!

A really nice local treats spot. My partner is an authority and states that the banana split is one of the best she has ever had. Their ingredients are real deal, fresh strawberries, tasty pecans, everything delicious and lovingly crafted. If you are in the area at all (or a lucky local) then it is a must stop. Wonderful coffee as well!
