We just had dinner at the Oyster Bar. This small business has been around since 1888 and has a very colorful history. The Food is absolutely amazing and the staff is every bit as amazing. I grew up in south Florida and I have been eating seafood all my life and I other than my grandfather's seafood dishes, I have had none better. Jamie was the hostess with the mostess. She and the rest of the crew will make sure you have the best experience. What a great place. Two thumbs up and 5 stars.

As you enter you are entering into a small but well supplied seafood market that you can buy the seafood they serve, but uncooked to take home. This is a treat in the midwest. They have fish there that are hard to find.
You better like seafood, however they do have excellent steak and chicken (nothing to write home about but tasty). The service was good and the selection was fantastic.
This is not a cheap place, meals run over $30, but it is a meal you will cherish if you are a seafood lover.
I ordered the calamari appetizer and got a platter of fried calamari. It was great.

This restaurant is one of Ft Wayne's finest. Our server was friendly, attentive and very helpful. The salmon and crab cakes were excellent. The Chops salad is wonderful also. We highly recommend this restaurant.

A bunch of anticipation and ending with just a so so. The 3 Floyd’s beer was very good but the Foggy Geezer by Warpigs was great. Was anticipating a good food paring but walked away a bit disappointed. Had a Taco trio. The Bob Marley was good not great. But was not impressed with the Duck Confit of the Korean Short Rib. Both were not bad just missing a little something. My travel companions liked the Mahi Mahi and the Smoked Brisket. Might visit again but it’s not a “can’t wait to come back”.

Casual Italian restaurant offering an extensive selection of house-made and imported pastas, soups and salads, pizza, seafood, steaks and desserts. Large portions of affordably priced menu selections are prepared with the freshest ingredients available.
Although, we have a reservation for a Particular time, We were asked to wait 10–15 minutes for “our” table. What’s up with that?

Shigs in Pit started as a competition BBQ team composed of Mad Anthony owners, Todd Grantham and Jeff Neels along with their friend Stefan Kelley, a networks services manager for Logikos. Within a few short years the team amassed Eleven Kansas City Barbecue Society Grand Championships, Five Reserve Grand Championships and numerous other awards for their smoked meats. In 2012, Grantham and Neels (with the blessing of Kelley) along with Mad Anthony Brewing Company partner Blaine Stuckey opened a restaurant and catering business with their award-winning recipes at the corner of Fairfield and Taylor in Fort Wayne. Shigs in Pit Barbeque is a proud sister company to Mad Anthony Brewing Company.

The food selection was great, the staff was friendly and quick. Dinner was good. I had the open face prime rib sandwich. It’s covered in Au Jus so be aware that the bread is soaked. It had good flavor though. The roasted chicken club was very tasty!
