Morning coffee at Starbucks is quite popular on post but it surprises me that they are not open longer on weekends. One Saturday I counted 17 patrons trying to enter between 4-4:15 right when everyone needs their punch of caffeine to survive the afternoon with kids. Later weekend hours would be appreciated!

I'm usually not an ice cream person, but this place was pretty good. Not overly impressed, and kind of pricey for one scoop.

The food is very good. Even my children loved the cucumber salad--and they usually don't like new things. The schnitzel was some of the best I've ever had.

If you've been to Fort Knox before they are extremely limited on places to eat quality food on base. This location replaced the Tim Hortons that was previously there. Anyway, excellent salad, sandwich and pastry items. (Blueberry cheesecake muffins!) Very good coffee as they serve a premier roast!

Fast, effecient and always fresh. I ate here a ton when I was at school and I was never disappointed. Not much seating area is the only drawback.

Currently in town for the week. The food options around Ft Knox is very limited. Would highly recommend this restaurant which serves delicious Korean food. The wait staff are super nice and attentive. Highly recommend this place which is not far from the Wilson gate (Ft Knox).

For years I have dreamed of a real coffee shop in Barbourville, and The Ugly Mug did not disappoint!
The atmosphere is unmatched and extremely versatile. I have on many occasion used the shop for homework, or to meet with friends and family. They also have a meeting room available for large groups to reserve.
The Ugly Mug's coffee is phenomenal. From lattes to frappes, they offer many different flavor options and coffee choices. They also have wonderful teas (hot or iced) as well as smoothies and the very popular frozen hot chocolate if coffee is not your thing.
Their lunch menu is seasonal to keep things fresh, and their deserts are to die for.
If you're a local or just in the area, don't miss an opportunity to stop by. I am sure you will be greeted with smiles and leave with the best coffee you have ever had!

I had the Whopper combo and dined in. Our food arrived fresh and with a smile. French fries were hot and the Whopper tasted fresh. The dining room was clean and the wait to order not too long. I would eat here again.

This is not a fancy place but it is clean. The menu is primarily seafood but they also serve burger, gyro's, salads and sandwiches. I love the cod, gyro's, ocean perch and gizzards. Portions are quite large and prices are low. Excellent food. Dine in or carry out.
