We love this little gem. Always busy during the day with tourists, we go later in the early evening...usually before one of the many free lectures being given just across the street in the Library. I like to go the bar...the "happy hour"specials are ridiculously cheap. My wife just adores their peanut soup. Food is very good overall, and the staff is superb.

We enjoyed a meal that was truly Outstanding, unfortunately your review only reflects up to Excellent! The meal was superb and the wait staff was attentive, cordial, and efficient. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. We've enjoyed both a brunch and dinner meal and in each case we've been more than pleased. We'd highly recommend the Bistro L'Hermitage, especially for a "special occasion." We're already ooking forward to our next visit!

Good Indian restaurants can be found just about any location, including this unappealing strip mall. Namaste not only has a big menu with the standard Indian fare, but also some Nepalese variations with obvious Chinese influence. We were not adventurous and enjoyed standards like samosas, butter chicken, chicken korman, tika masala, etc. Everything was on point and delicious. The service was fine, but we did not require much attention. Again, the atmosphere is dull and lacks charm, but the food is just fine, which is what matters most.

Located at Ft. Belvoir Army Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES), this location offers regular Starbucks drink menu. You can use your Starbucks card, but you cannot redeem any reward drinks here. That's the only disadvantage I encountered. Otherwise, it is a full service Starbucks. Ususally servers are cheeful and friendly. Enjoy your choice of drinks here!

An intimate restaurant where everyone was warm and helpful and the complimentary Afgan bread and four dips made you feel like you found your new home.
The Hot Mazza Assortment appetizer (leek ane scallion turnover; roasted butternut squash, roasted eggplant puree, and leek dumping) is excellent and almost enough for a full meal.
The Sabzi Turnover (Boulanee) were phillo dough stuffed with spinich, kale, collard green, turnip leaves, and mustard greens and cilantro with an avocado chutney allows you to get a variety of healthy greens in a very pleasing manner.
The Pumpkin Dumplings with their thin shell wrappings were wonderful, heated up the next day.
The Sheer Birinj (Afgan rice pudding with cardamon and crushed pistachios) was delicious.
The Doogh yogurt drink came in a huge plastic beer mug was very healthy and generous, but it gave me a night of smelly gas. Not recommended if you have to go back to work or a movie later or if you want to impress your date. 8-)

Tried Bozelli's Brother's Deli while on Ft. Belvoir. Food was decent, and location was fairly convenient. But it took a long time for the food to be prepared. This was somewhat driven by the amount of people in line, but overall they didn't seem particularly fast.

This location is on post in an outdoor mall strip, off 12th street between the two main roads on post. Parking out front is limited but additional parking is nearby. There is ample seating inside, but the outside is nice during warmer weather. Don't expect to redeem your free reward drinks here; they don't participate. You can still earn reward stars and get refills.

I was in a class at Fort Belvior and I needed to grab a quick lunch and we stumbled upon this location. I ordered the Brown Sugar Bacon & Pit Smoked Ham sandwich combo with curly fries. The sandwich was very good and so were the fries. Quick service and clean store.

This was a nice quick stop after visiting Mount Vernon and on the way to the Udvar Hazy museum. The burger was very good, and they have a trimmings bar so you can fix it with all the toppings you want. The fries were tasty as well.

We are in our late 70s and often have lunch as our main meal. We have enjoyed our meals here but this time we were surprised: the lunch menu has fewer items we love. Wife enjoyed stuffed cabbage, brought back great memories. I come here for one reason ... I totally love the wiener schnitzel ... and, it was great.
