The service was inattentive and I had difficulty finding the waiter for a salsa or drink refill or for the check. The salsa is fine but they only give you a few teaspoons at a time. The carne asada was well prepared but the portion was skimpy. The place is clean enough and locals seem to go there. Of all the Mexican place I have eaten at this is ranked in the bottom half.

The coffee house recently opened. It is connected to a little gift shop. The three of us each ordered something different. The soups, salads and sandwiches were all absolutely delicious. I ordered a Reuben....yummy! Very friendly staff. We loved the atmosphere. It was very comfortable; very relaxing.

Stopped at the Dairy Queen for a treat. It is Total filth--sticky booths, dirty floors, etc. they only fill blizzards half way.

Our family enjoys eating Chinese food and tried this Chinese restaurant once it opened up where the old one was and we really enjoy the food. Everything comes out steaming hot and the service is Excellent. We love eating lunch or dinner there and it's one of our favorite restaurants. My husband doesn't care for Chinese that much but will eat it and he found a dish that he likes too. ☺

I stopped in for dinner. They have a nice selection of sandwiches and pizza. I opted for a pizza. The pizza has a thin, crispy crust. Service was okay. Not the friendliest people in Estherville. Decent beer selection.

Mother Natures was recommended by another business. We were told the burgers were good, as they were. I agree that the name is a bit mis-leading as one would think this is a "healthy" eating establishment. It is not, but it is good. I had the patty melt which was good, my friends both had a different burger. Our lunches came with a salad which was a bit of a disappointment; iceberg letteuce with a slice of tomato and bottled dressing. The service was spot on. We would probably go back and try something else next time.

We stopped as we were passing through Minnesota and had a great dinner with excellent service. The restrooms are very clean and the person waiting on us was very friendly and brought our meals to our table.

This small authentic Mexican restaurant is over shadowed by its amazing service and exceptional food. You may drive right on by it on the main drag, but stopping in to explore this gem is very worth hitting the brakes. The atmosphere, service, and food is like stepping over the border for a true Mexican experience. The bigger places may have well known names and appeal, but for a true Mexican experience stop right here.

We went into the supermarket to get a couple things and noticed the restaurant inside. It was the best decision we made during our business trip to Estherville. The burgers are fabulous! Try the Hy-Waiian burger. Also the pepperoni pinwheels appetizers. The staff were the most friendly people!! And they sang happy birthday to my colleague upon request. In three nights here in Estherville, we ate here twice. Next time, we might make it all three nights here.

Not a lot to say about the food - it's McDonald's - so it's the same everywhere! The staff is what put it over the top. Place was dead quiet when I stopped in - the guy at the counter struck up a conversation (rare for many McD's). Made it a good experience.
