Found this place late one evening on the way back to Brussels. We had our little pup with us and they have no problem even though we sat inside - some places in the area seem to have some issues. Anyway, once inside they were quite happy to seat us and took great care of us even though our French is a tad limited.
I went for a veal dish - superb and the spouse ordered lasagna after asking if there was pork or ham in it several times (jambon & de porc) to which we were told no. Wrong; there was quite a lot. So we explained the problem the instant it came out. They took it away, let us pick a second dish - pasta witha cream sauce and only charged us (unlike other places have tried) for the dishes we actually ate. Both meals were very delightful and we enjoyed chatting in our broken French with two couples and their young children at the next table who they also took great care of. We tried the house wine (red) as well and found that to be good overall though nothing spectacular it was quite drinkable and enjoyable.
We'll do it again and again I suspect.

I have visited this restaurant numerous times because it is my father-in-law's father favourite place. Therefore I also admit the clientele is based more on the... hmmmm... senior type.
But I do need to praise this place. The owner and his wife are of the kindest. They do accomodate to everyone's needs. They truly make an effort and care about their guest.
The food is 'yummy' in my humble opinion, even though sometimes I question the 'fusion' aspect, they seem to get away with it according to my fellow eaters.
All in all, it is a simple restaurant with good prices but most important, the owners do care. I've judged this restaurant as average because it is... just average... but it gets that extra touch thanks to the owners.
Tip of the day, order the grain gin, tastes like brandy. Boggles your mind a bit.
Would I go back? I will because family insists but wouldn't be against my will.
Last thing which I need to mention, whenever step-grandfather has problems walking, the owner drives up to his house and drives him from and to. It's not for the money (what's a single lunch?).

I had to book my stay in the region as a last minute one... So I didn't have time to check this very nice gite before .....
But all the surprises were for me once I arrived... Very nice, quite place....the surrounding is very nice and calls you for a walk during the day....
The room I had was perfect and the breakfast was just as you wish....
Natural products seems to be the master word for the chef... And I wish I could have stayed to envoy a dinner there.....
So... You need a nice place for a week end and take your time and enjoy your moment.... You got it.... La clef des champs.....

A bit hidden very cute and cosy restaurant. Le patron is in his kitchen and is very friendly. Staff equally accomodating. Do not have many seats so reservation is needed. Good quality food.

Good quality food in a typical movie environment based on the famous tv serie named "Amicalement vôtre" ("The Persuaders" for the english speaking people) starring Roger Moore (Brett Sinclair) and Tony Curtis (Danny Wilde).
Very attractive and tasty homemade hamburgers !
A place worth trying !
