This is the best catfish place around!! Always a great experience and the food can't be beat!!!!!! We did our baby's gender reveal party here and have had many birthday parties here!!

Don't miss out on this wonderful place that has the best catfish around! It's not a fancy place, but the owner and servers provide plenty of southern hospitality. The rural setting beside a lake (with a Watermill!) is charming and perfect. The coleslaw is definitely a favorite! My family loves the experience of dining here and we always enjoy the consistently delicious food.

I was in Ellisville for a conference at Jones county Junior College and thought I would go back to one of my favorite local eateries.
This restaurant has been around for a few years and has a reputation for serving authentic New Orleans style cuisine. It has recently changed ownership, and I was skeptical. But, no need to worry. I don't know if the new owners got the recipes in the deal, but it is just as good as ever. And if anything, the service is better. The waitress was prompt and friendly. And the manager made a point to visit with the diners to be sure they were having a good experience.
They even treated us to small samples of some of the other menu items.
If you are in that neck of the woods, you gotta check this out.

Good Mexican joint in Ellisville. It can get a little crowded in there at times, but usually isn't too bad. We eat here all the time

Typical catfish house style restaurant but really good food. Had the catfish. They only serve whole catfish and I prefer filets but the taste was outstanding. Cole slaw to die for. Lemons, French fries, onion, tartar sauce all part of the meal. 2 whole catfish per person was ore than enough. A good place for the occasional fried food meal.

If you want great Southern Fried Catfish or The best marinated steak around, take a drive to the country for the best place around for miles.
The service is top notch, menu has something for everyone, kids too.
I have NEVER been remotely dissapointed in anyway. The atmosphere is great, just what you would expect for good Southern folks to enjoy family and friends with great food and service.

If you like your Chicken hot with a taste to die for try Karock's in Ellisville,Ms. Rocky and Karan where in the
fast food chicken chain for a while but now focus on their Mom and Pop food joint.They sevre up everthing HOT and FRESH!!!! Chicken strips,kabobs and more.Super sides and smiling faces that make yoy feel at home.The dip'n sauce is a 12 on a one to ten scale;yep it's that good.Don't take my word,please try it yourself and just try to tell me I'm wrong.

You would think that a place with 6-7 people working would have it together. Wrong. The whole place needs a good scrubbing. The floors were sticky. All the tables had dried food on them. A bucket of water, mops, rags and a couple of the seemingly lost employees would do this place good. Only one person waited the counter while the rest were engaged in conversation and wandered aimlessly thru the back of the business. I was really surprised we didn't get sick.

I don't eat donuts nor drink coffee but I buy donuts and kolaches for my customers so I see a lot of donut shops. This is a very good one with a good selection and kolaches. I'll be back next time in town.
