This was a spur of the moment meal me and my bf did. SOOOOOO SURPRISED. AMAZING FOOD. And literally so cheap and I had enough leftovers for another meal. Pretty picky with my mex rice but I liked theres. Wasn't a fan of the Al Pastor they used, seemed kind of dry but everything was awesome nonetheless. They had this avacado verde salsa that was to die for. I put that stuff on all my chips and drenched my torta in it, it was so good. It's relieving that the workers speak GOOD english too. You know typically you go to a mexican store and if they speak english it's not all to good but here (at least when I went) the woman spoke clear english. On a side note, they only have three tables crammed on the side of the store so probably call ahead and just take out.

This is a full service bakery with a number of authentic old recipes which will give you a trip back in time. So many bakeries are no longer in business and places like this are very hard to find. They have been busy for 59 years! You can go in and order coffee and pick from the various cases of goods and sit at one of the tables and chairs provided. We had a great time buying all sorts of great items. Bear Claws and Tiger tails, pull apart pecan bread, butter coffee cake, hot cross buns, Irish soda bread and donuts and apple turn overs. This was just our first visit and we plan to go back. The variety is amazing and everything we purchased was fantastic. The items taste so good, not over the top with sweet but more like a fine European style bakery.

on the square in Elkhorn Wisconsin. It was redone after a fire several years ago, excellent Chinese food
This is average - at best - Asian food. We had such a bad experience with a staff member last time, but decided to give it another try anyway.
It started off ok, the man who seated us was nice, the server started out nice, but by the time it came to pay, she snapped at us when we gave her two forms of payment insisting she had to split the charge down the middle regardless of who ordered what.
I ordered the Garlic Chicken lunch which came with choice of soup. I picked the hot and sour soup. It came slightly warm, almost cold and very "thick". I was starving though and ate it anyway. My friend picked the egg drop soup, took one bite and said it didn't taste good. When the server came back to the table, my friend said she could take away the soup because she didn't like it and the server just grunted (yes, you heard me, grunted) and walked away. No offer to get her a different choice or apologize or anything.
My Garlic Chicken came and again the sauce was "thick" like they used way too much thickener. It definitely didn't run when you scooped it, but kind of fell off the utensil. If they use fresh food, it's hard to tell with the heavy "sauces".
Was really hoping to like this place because there are very few Asian restaurant choices in the area but i'm sorry to say, I don't think I'll be back.

This is in the quaint town of Elkhorn
We were ready to search for a place to eat lunch when my wife looked at their special. It was Chicken Pot Pie with a wonderful salad. That is something we never seem to see on a menu. She ordered it and said the salad was full of greens and very good. The pie came out and was the size of a regular full apple pie. My wife could only eat 1/2 of it and took the rest back to the resort we were staying at. She pronounced it as the best chicken pot pie she had ever eaten. I had the Pub Burger and it consisted of 1/2 pound burger topped with mozzarella, Applewood smoked bacon, homemade BBQ sauce and homemade onion rings on a toasted bun. It was an excellent burger and fixings. Having such wonderful meals you would expect to be charged much more but almost the entire with a few exceptions was $9.95. We checked the dinner menu and the highest priced item was for an 8 oz. top sirloin filet for $17.95. Appetizers, extra sides, and desserts are also very reasonable. They probably hold close to 100 people when filled. We liked it so well we motored back to Someplace Else Restaurant from the resort we were staying at the next day and their special of the day was the same pot pie and salad for $8.00. We are home now but know anytime we are in the area to eat at this great facility. We met the owner the 2nd day and she was extremely friendly and hard working just like all her waitresses. They also have a bar for your pleasure.

I'm so happy my wife and I finally decided to eat here. The staff was very knowledgable and the food was very good. The pizza was so incredible, only get up to two toppings thought the pizza is very thin.

Authentic Mexican cuisine with vegetarian options and a full bar. Family friendly with daily lunch specials.
We LOVE this place! Food is consistently good! We had fajitas Jalisco (chicken, beef, shrimp) and it was amazing! I love the shrimp tacos with cheese and lettuce. I like that it is a family restaurant and the manager always makes us feel welcome. They are very friendly and appreciate your business and it shows. We had leftover fajitas but the kids ate the entire thing the very next morning! (Fajita portion was very large too) The chicken tacos are also very good! We can't imagine going anywhere else for quality Mexican food.

Tucked back in a small strip type multiplex, it's maybe a good thing that this place is a little out of the way, because it can get very busy especially on a Sunday morning. It is worth the wait though. They always have the traditional Eggs Benedict and then a rotating variation. Today was Salmon Benedict, but my favorite is the Scallop Benedict. My wife gets the Bananas Foster Crepes. All excellent. Service is a little bit slow, but it's because everything is prepared to order, not slapped together like at a chain. Presentation is always great. Well worth looking for.

This place is awesome-great food and good people. Real ingredients, fresh and prepared daily-the owner is real and listens to his friends(customers) and delivers a great Hawaiian pizza-also good garlic cheese bread and sandwiches. A good place to get a great round of food.

My husband and I had the senior citizen chopped sirloin special. The special includes salad, chopped sirloin, potatoes (I got hash browns), vegetable (that day it was green beans), and ice cream for dessert! We were both very pleased with our lunch. Our server was great - I'm sorry I didn't get her name.

This is a buffet type eating style. My kids like the pizza, my hubby and I don't care for it much. They also have chicken, salad, mashed potatoes, fries, beans, etc. I like their dessert pizza with a little ice cream. It isn't anything spectacular but a good place to stop when you don't want to cook.
