We had to wait for about 10 minutes for a table, it was busy. Monday was -30 below wind chill. Suzie brought me Hot Tea w/Honey & Lemon, that did the trick! My partner had the Denver Omelet with a side of 2 Pancakes and I had Sausage, Eggs, Toast & Hash browns, with more Tea. We had our food in less than 10 minutes. The food was great and our waitress Suzie, was very attentive. We'll be back here in a heartbeat.

Was in Davenport shopping and needed some lunch. Found Cafe` d'Marie on Tripadvisor. The building is old and very quaint. The owners were very friendly and upon learning that it was our first time there, brought us a sample of soup and a free dessert. Now for the food. I ordered the cream of mushroom. It was fantastic. They brought us a sample of the cream of Brussels sprouts. I have never cared for Brussel sprouts. I loved it more that the mushroom. The panini sandwiches were very good and made with fresh ingredients. They also have a divine assortment of coffees and teas to choose from. For dessert she brought us a carrot cake bread pudding. Oh my was it good. The only drawbacks that I could see is that it is a bit pricey for the amount of food you get and the tables are a bit cramped. But I will definitely go back. Would be a great place for a ladies day lunch.

So glad I checked Tripadvisor after pulling off the road at this stop. I wouldn't have known about it. Had a great pulled rib sandwich and cornbread. Staff is friendly typical Midwestern hospitality. Will be back when going this way.

This is the place for what I think was home made ice cream products. I had a frozen yogurt in a sugar cone, tasty. My snake companions had ice cream of various variety and found them exceptional. We took our treats outside and enjoyed the day at Whiteys

As a Brit now living in America, I have to say that The Grove is the closest thing I’ve found to a British Pub. We had just a short visit, but I could see becoming a local here, with good company, good chats and good food and drinks. I felt at home straight away:)

If you haven't tried Whitey's you are missing out. So many flavors to choose from, seasonal flavors too. The staff is always so friendly and fast. People here in Iowa love their Whitey's. This place is busy whether it's hot, cold, raining or freezing cold. You won't be disappointed.

Try the Cup O' Joe Expresso or the Coconut Almond Joy ice cream. They are both very delicious. It's more economical to get a shake instead of two scoops though. Just saying.

Make sure to get the cheese sticks/bread! Sooo goooood! We had the taco pizza, ham & sourcrout, and a Lil Joe's cheese pizza! Everyone enjoyed every bite! Game room is small but the kids didn't seem to notice. They collected their tickets and turned them in for small prizes all the same...and they have ice cream too! Must eat there!

I haven't eaten there for a couple of years. I loved it then and still love it. They had a good menu and the food was very tasty. Most meals are $16.95 and up. They bring a basket with a variety of bread when you arrive. I would suggest making a reservation unless you get there before 5.

My hopes were elevated when I saw what I'd hoped was going to be a good tacorita from the highway, sadly this was not the case. The staff was very friendly but the food was underwhelming, the meat choices were limited and safe. When I asked about lingua or chicharron the staff looked at me blankly. This is a family friendly, safe local but if you want authentic Mexican food look elsewhere.
