We dropped in for our bi-annual trip through the area and we were NOT disappointed. The food was fresh, hot and tasty as always!! The staff was really excited about their new look and equipment in the lounge area and gave us a "tour" of some new items and explained how it will be an enhanced experience for customers. THANK YOU. You made us feel very welcome

When I need to set a meeting location I always choose Joe Sippers! Joe and desserts make any meeting go better. I am currently enjoying a flavorful cup of hylanders grog! Wonderful! Also serve sandwiches and salads!

We are located in the old bus station so our exterior is very unique, however inside you will find state of the art Tv's, sound system and Vegas style comfortable seating.

Staying in Effingham on our way back to Chicagoland. Read reviews on TripAdvisor and decided to try the Gabby Goat for dinner. We were NOT disappointed! Good food and luvely atmosphere. Thursday’s special is Baby Back Ribs! Tender with just a hint of heat. Yum. Husband had the catfish po boy. More heat than he is used to but he didn’t leave even a bite. We even bought thier beer glasses.

Was visiting Effingham for a confrence and our group visited Firefly for dinner. The food is quite pricy but tasted out of this world. You can tell the food and ingrediants are very high quality. I had the spinach salad with grilled chicken added. I will look to come back here when I'm in the area again.

Decent SBUX.
What makes it "decent" you ask...well I'll tell you. The pleasantries were scarce and personalities non-existent. I didn't even receive a "Thank you" and we all know that's free of charge.
What's nice about this location is their setup. It was Where are you inviting. Open dining space filled with high tops & tables for groups. Sofa chair seating in the corner for those seeking solitude. Charging outlets so you're never out of juice. I also liked the selection of ceramic mugs, colorful tumblers, coffee and other merchandise. The shelves were neatly organized. The drive-thru is another plus.
Not being able to get over the dry service I'm settling at a 2.8 star rating.

if you love frozen custard, Homewood Grill will become an instant favorite. the chocolate-covered cherry "shake & more" is one of my favorite frozen desserts. ever. the "Dole Whip" is also fantastic, if you're counting calories. this place is on my list of Top Ten local ice cream shops in America. and so ridiculously inexpensive. bring the whole family!!!

This is definitely the place for lunch in downtown Effingham. Constant flow of people and and endless line of take out orders. I had the Italian Beef on Ciabatta and it was just the right serving. I wanted a cup of soup but they do not have soup on the menu. It seemed that many people were ordering personal sized pizzas. Service was fast and efficient.

This is a nice restaurant with pretty good frozen yogurt. They have every topping imaginable. However, the price is based upon weight so the more toppings you use the more expensive it will be. They always have several flavors of yogurt available and sometimes they are strange flavors.

I have serious food allergies, so I'm very cautious about eating out. I seek out Cracker Barrel restaurants because I know exactly what I can order that's safe for me, though I need a few modifications. This Cracker Barrel did especially well for me. When I explained my needs to our server, she told the manager, and he prepared my dinner himself! I really appreciate that, and my meal was delicious.

This is the BEST Mexican restaurant in the area. It serves food similar to what is served in Mexico. The tacos are authentic and not the typical "taco bell" stuff. They don't have lots of cheese and other Americanized versions of Mexican food. Sometimes they do get busy!
