Easy on and off the interstate for travelers. Restaurant was clean, service was friendly and prompt. Food was hot, and tasted good and fresh.
Even during lunch rush, this restaurant had no problems keeping up. Employee were sharp and on the ball.
Wish all my traveling stops were as good as this one. I highly recommend this Dairy Queen.

The name is missleading, it's really a restaurant that has a meat market. Should be named: "Maes Restaurant & Meat Market"!!!
I rated it 4 stars because by Eastland standards it's definitely well above average. By New England Standards I'd have rated it as 3 stars. Would definitely eat there again for good food at a reasonable price.
We had lunch there. I had the steak fingers special which was good: Generous portion of mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, & 2 steak fingers ~2 oz each. My only complaint is that the steak fingers were a bit too salty. Because my order took so long I didn't complain about the saltiness.
We arrived about 1:00 & the place was packed, had about a 10 minuite wait to be seated. Our orders took about 30 minuites. The very nice waitress was apologetic, but we had arrived just as everyone there had put in their orders & swamped the kitchen.
In retrospect, I wish i'd tried the salad bar, It's on the small side, but the usual favorites were there & looked quite good. Also would have been better for my waistline. ;)

I visit Alameda Cemetery approx. 4 times a year stopping by this bar-b-q restaurant at least once during that time. Their food has always been great with full portions and packaged well for take-out, which I use. I find the chopped brisket sandwich with choice of sides ideal for me. I would recommend this restaurant for it's wonderful food and friendly staff. ( Dining room is very noisy usually, some soft, instrumental music would help quieten the loud talking, in my opinion.) Thanks for the opportunity to recommend this establishment.

Very good Mexican dishes and most capable and hospitable staff. Ambiance is very good and it conveniently located off I-20 and in the food and hotel "district" in Eastland. Our main dish for this lunch was the nacho chips. Wd are going back!

This restaurant was good. The food was good, the staff was great. I ordered the combo fajitas one night and Mexican dinner two days later. Yes I went two times and would go again. I will final too this restaurant when in town.

The first thing I gotta say about this place is that I appreciate them having a salad bar. These are getting harder and harder to find. The pizza was very good, very flavorable. The place was packed when we arrived. That right there told us to stay. They must know a good place to eat. Being from out of town, the employees were very friendly. Will definately go again.

This restaurant is about 30 minutes from our house. It's not cheap, but the food is generally good. This time I had the breakfast sandwich - it is not good - mostly overcooked bacon. Stick with a traditional breakfast and you will not be disappointed. We even had to wait for a seat on our last visit, it's very popular with the locals.

Friday night. Judging by the exterior, you wouldn't think this place offers much. The food is OK. Looks are deceiving. My wife's beef/potato burrito was large and flavorful. My muchaca enchiladas were less enjoyable. I'd suggest they offer a bean option other than refried beans. The place is very popular with the locals. Service is OK.

I had a combo plate of fried white chicken, fried okra and a biscuit. The food was all fresh and hot, but not really all that tasty. Just your basic fried chicken fast food stop. Nothing special. The staff were all nice and the place was a little on the messy side. OK for an eating stop off the interstate.

Traveling through this small town with my sister and found this local spot on the square. Family owned with friendly staff. Ordered us a good 'ole cheeseburger from the grill. The restaurant offers a reasonable breakfast menu as well. Closes at 2pm so go early.
