Came here with another couple at their recommendation. What a delicious surprise. The service is friendly and efficient without being over the top. But it is the food that stands out!! I thought I have had some of the best shrimp one can have, but here the Shrimp Francese was exceptional!! Others at the table had the Veal Martini, and the Sea Bass Portofino. All of it delicious. My only negative is it was a bit on the pricey side for a restaurant outside the city. But I will be back!!

AJ's is a collaboration of America's Favorite Foods served seven days a week serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. AJ makes everything in house using fresh ingredients and an orchestra of recipes. We serve pan sandwiches on our homemade bread; chicken, broccoli, rabe with provolone and hot cherry peppers is one of our most popular, beyond our burgers, sliders, chicken parmigiana and our delicous 12” thin crust pizzas!
We came to watch our grandson's football game at the high school and read up about AJ's for dinner after the game. Pleasantly surprised even better than reviews. Very friendly service. The boys enjoyed making their bread shapes. Food is fresh and delicious. Wonderful family...MoreThanks so much for coming in, and taking the time to write us a review. We really appreciate it!

The coffee is good, the food is OK and it's approaching what a bakery should be in France but... the prices are way too high for what the serve, and the service is absolutely terrible. You just have to wait in line while the waitresses are discussing about their weekend or intimate life.
Good point : if you never been to France and liked to have a preview of what's a parisian waiter in a bad mood, you're at the right place!

This is one of the best Greek restaurants in Westchester. The service is good and the prices are fair. There is an extensive dinner menu. This time we had the saganaki flambe which was really good and fun to watch them prepare at our table. We also had the moussaka and the pastichio. The moussaka was better. I have had better pastichio at some diners.
Sometimes I think it is better to just skip the entrees and just order a bunch of appetizers.
All in all we like this place and will probably return.

reliable, excellent, for food and service and most of all, for the cocktails.
We had some good news today and I wanted to celebrate. So I looked through my list of places I've been to and places I want to go to, and hubby said, how about Lombardo's. And I said, no, I want Lombardo's to be 'the place we could have gone to' while we're on our way to other places, since they are all hype and yuppies. And it was packed. Go figure.
Meanwhile, Burrata's in Eastchester wasn't packed. Happily for me. Alara (sorry, I had to ask her name twice, I am old) made the most wonderful riff on a Brooklyn, they call it a Homes & Churches. If I could, I would have one of each of their Liquid Kitchen concotions. The only other place on my 'go to' list for libations and food of this sort is NoMo Social.
Since I had to eat, we had the Brussel Sprouts and Calamari appetizers. Both outstanding. Then hubby had the Tartufo pizza (Mikey liked it!) and I had the Parigi pizza and put my leftover brussel sprouts on it, good idea right?
It was a wonderful lunch on a day that could have gone either way and I was happy to celebrate at Burrata's. Thank you, Alara.

I was at a dinner dance and the owner, Paolo was there with his gelato cart. I am from Sicily and know what real gelato is. I couldn't believe the great taste that his gelato had. I am now a steady customer along with my wife and kids. Tante Grazie Paulo!!!

?The history of Central Avenue is right here in this little house that holds a restaurant and bar that never slows down and serves food into the wee hours. Candlelight is wings and wings are Candlelight. Ask anybody who has lived in central lower
Westchester in the past decades. They have burgers, wraps, sandwiches and some entrees but who would go there to not have wings, waffle fries and beer on tap? I can't imagine. They have a separate house next door that they bought and renovated to be their takeout business. The couple of times I've had takeout it doesn't taste the same, I think the wing sauce gets partially absorbed by the container. but don't think me saying this stops anyone from coming here to get superbowl wings to take home. It's like Christmas Eve at a good italian bakery, maybe worse. Don't have them the first time on Superbowl Sunday. Go on a tuesday at like 2:30 and maybe you won't have to wait. It gets like a zoo easily because it's a small place. Fight to get to the bar and get a beer while you wait, you may need 2 before you sit, get really lucky and you'll score a seat at the bar. You can eat there if you want but it's crowded and close and eveyone is brushing past you to get to the clipboard to put their name on the waitlist and to go to the bathroom..if you can wait, wait for a table.

Best Burgers in Westchester! We provide a great atmosphere and great food. We also offer Weekend Brunch from 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
They have parking space in the rear. It is difficult to talk, actually to listen each other...The BLT is good!
