We were surprised, upon arriving, that the entire menu was prix fixe. It was amazingly crowded, not what we expected from such a high end restaurant. Our 9 PM reservation was the earliest we could get--by the time we left, it had thinned out a great deal and was more pleasant, not as noisy.
The service was perfect, and our waiter could not have been more helpful or accommodating. And my appetizer--duck mousse--was incredible (our waiter recommended it over the foie gras--and I loved every bite.) My dining companions both ordered the tuna tartare, with three different tuna presentations, and I tasted it, and it too was a really good dish.
My main dish was a striped sea bass, and it was less wonderful than the appetizers. Were I to have enough time in Westhampton to revisit this restaurant, I would order two appetizers, which are very large portions, and forgo the entree. But this prix fixe menu is a phenomenal deal, go try it out!

There’s “first-class” dining “nestled deep” in East Quogue at this “culinary tour de force”, where the “adventurous” seasonal menu of “superior” French-Med cuisine shows off “fantastic variations and flavors” in discreetly “sophisticated” environs overseen by a “gracious” staff; it’s the stuff that “great memories” are made of. Always a treat. One can enjoy excellent food and service in an elegant candlelit atmosphere. This is our go-to restaurant for special occasions.
The menu is traditional but creative. I’d love to see more vegetarian options and organic options. Very good wine list and creative cocktail menu.
Service was patchy last night - our waiter was excellent but didn’t seem to have the help he needed to get us bread (we asked A LOT), and our water glasses frequently ran empty and I had to catch someone’s eye to refill.
I suspect it was just an off night. We’ve eaten here many times and have never been disappointed.
Highly recommended.

Ordered Yule Log, cannolis and a large cheese danish ring for Christmas. Went to pick it up at scheduled time and was rudely told that our order was not ready, that there would be no cannolis and that we should come back later in the day. When I explained that we were coming from afar, I asked if I could speak to the owners. They came out from the back of the bakery and the wife was obnoxious, rude and started to yell at me that they did not have time to finish all the orders they had to fill. Have no idea why they were angry at me as I ordered a week prior to today and was told it would be ready at the time we discussed. It was clear they screwed up my order.
No apology or sorry from them. I left with nothing. I told my hosts for the Xmas eve gathering I was invited to that I would bring dessert, so now I was left scrambling as to what to do.
No way to run a business. They just lost a customer..and I am going to make sure I tell ALL my friends and family to look for a another place to get their bakery goods.

Spicing up the Long Island waterfont, RUMBA is a special dining spot serving up a unique combination of Island-inspired food, premium handcrafted rum libations, happy staffers, reggae + a low-key vibe…all on the Shinnecock Bay (accessible by boat).
We stopped here while on our way home from Birding and everything was outstanding. We would definitely return. Very friendly staff, delicious food and drinks - what more can you want! Tacos were outstanding and loved that you could try different ones. Shrimp and fish were excellent as were the plantains and the coconut Risotto - unique coconut dish. The only thing that was a bit weird was in the menu it says you can “buy the staff a round” if you’re happy with the service.... do they really want drunk staff? Lol

New Restaurant In Quogue Ny Where The Inn Spot Used To Be
Sparkling clean with the freshest foods and outstanding desserts. I had gazpacho that came right from the garden. The pasta salad with veggies was also scrumptious! The fruity iced tea was perfect for a hot summer day. There was a steady stream of folks coming in for take out.
Why not, it's too hot to cook!
Everything was delicious. I highly recommend Beth's Cafe.

My husband and I arrived in the Hamptons and came here with friends for our first lunch. This was a perfect place to eat. There was a huge variety of menu items, and also separate offerings from the (amazingly good) bakery, and the home made ice cream.
It's a very casual eatery. We placed our order and received a vibrating thingie that alerted us when our order was ready. We needed to go and claim our food and bring it our table. So waitperson service is not an issue at this venue. Ambience is total beach casual.
The food is surprisingly good and needs to be mentioned. I really enjoyed my caesar with grilled salmon--the salmon was worth killing a fish for. I also ordered a watermelon gazpacho, because I had never had it before. It was a bit spicy for my taste, and that combined with the fact that my grilled salmon caesar was very filing, meant that I ended up with way too much food. But I did take home some take out-I was transported by the bakery's rugaleh, and the whitefish salad I got from the deli case--why oh why did I ever move from NY to CA? I love this food! I miss this food! I WANT this food! And the Beach Cafe does it wonderfully!
Today I rode my bike back to the Beach cafe in order to sample the house-made gelato. The chocolate was very good, but the mint was amazing.
As my title says, there is something for everyone here. Great food, menu with a lot of variety, pettable dogs on the patio--what more can anyone ask for? Nothing that I can think of. Visit and enjoy.

This place has the best bagels and egg sandwiches in East Quogue. Lunch is mediocre. Staff is friendly and place appears clean.

The place was very busy on a Thursday evening. Always a good sign. Plenty of locals too. The view must be beautiful by day. We found it a little dark and orange. That said, the service was friendly and prompt. Orders taken and bread delivered...MoreI'm so glad to see that you had such a lovely meal, Hilary. From the food to the service, I truly enjoyed reading about your experience, and here's to hopefully having you back again real soon! All the best, John

Three waterside bars, two lounges, an eclectic mix of fresh seafood, steaks, lobster, and all the stunning sunsets the Hamptons can provide -- welcome to Dockers Waterside Marina & Restaurant. For nearly 30 years, we have been a Dune Road destination, and every year it gets better and better! Locals and vacationers alike have been joining us for lobster, live music, oysters, crab cakes, and cocktails -- but that’s not all we do. We also are happy to cater whether you have an event coming up or you just can’t make it to the marina. Whether you join us for the sunsets or our chipotle swordfish tacos, we’ll see you down by the water soon.
You certainly pay for the view but the food was surprisingly great too. Menu is interesting and basically certainly one of the best places to eat and hang out in the hamptons with very nice professional waiters especially james! Thanks for recommending us, Annette! We're honored that you think we're one of the best spots in the Hamptons. Hope to see you at our place again very soon. Sincerely, Brooke, general manager

Quaint restaurant in downtown Westhampton, NY which we visited on a Tuesday night so we didn't see any drama from the weekend crush at many restaurants in the Hamptons. Decent food, great mussels as appetizers and as a dinner. Relaxed atmosphere in what reminds you of a formal New England inn on the inside with a couple of tables on the terrace in the front of the restaurant. Family friendly, drinks were generous as were the portion sizes. Our waiter was decent as was the busboy so the table service was very good by summer beach town standards. I would give it a 3.5 star rating if I could.
Came here for lunch a couple days ago while killing time out east and it was amazing. Had the zucchini almond soup to start which we both liked. My wife had a Turkey sandwich and I got the delicious codfish burrito with melted cheddar on top. I will be craving this thing for years to come. Friendly service. My only knock is they only accept cash or American express. My diners club credit card was no good here. Lololol in all honesty, not sure why they don't except MasterCard but hey, the food is fantastic!!!
