Hellenic Snack Bar & Restaurant in East Marion, NY serves authentic Greek cuisine and a great selection of local wine, local harvest and local seafood on the North Fork of Long Island. The portions are plentiful and great for all occasions! We offer year round indoor dining and either full outdoor dining or covered outdoor dining in our enclosed pavilion. It is heated and available year round for catering. We also cater off-premise in your home, on the waterfront or at your favorite winery.
Place has good food with good service and is very clean. The only downfall to this place is that it's expensive. I'm giving it three stars for the pricing not the quality of food.

We will be CLOSED Jan 22 - Feb 1. Both Locations. Reno & Relaxation. See you for lunch Friday the 2nd!
I've eaten here twice. Most recently got the nachos. Very tasty and way too much food. One small quibble is that they used cheese sauce instead of actual cheese. This place can get really crowded in the season, so don't go really hungry.

If you like your coffee strong, Aldo is for you. From the deep roasted aroma when you enter to the rich flavor of your cappuccino, latte, espresso, americano or cold beverages, Aldo says coffee in every sense.
In addition, they serve superbly flakey croissants and other fine baked goods, and provide comfortable informal seating inside and out. If you want coffee in Greenport and you want it strong like I do, think Aldo.

The gelato was delicious. One of the better gelato I've had since visiting Italy last year. The cafe offers pastries along with a selection of coffees. Outdoor seating, if it's not too hot. Spacious seating inside. The only drawback is you can only have one taste.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch before beginning a wine tour of the area, and it was superb! As soon as we walked in, Freddy, the owner, the was very kind and told us a bit about the menu. Once he found out...MoreThank u Ashton! I hope you had a great time at the vineyards! Stop in to see us again on your next trip to the NOFO.

If you are catching the ferry to New London from Orient Point, or just disembarked, this is a great stop for a sandwhich. Small sit down area to wait, or devour food if you have time. Popular, so line can get a little long. Doesn't have long opening hours.

Southold Fish Market is located in a convenient spot right off the main road with plenty of parking, in a relatively recently built facility. The fresh fish never disappoints and there is a wide selection of fish and shellfish, along with frozen and refrigerated sauces, spreads and selections. The spreads are great for party appetizers. On the opposite side of the store is a dining area--most of the menu is fried seafood and fried sides, better than bars in the area but the preparation does not take full advantage of the freshness of the fish. The servers in general - both in the raw store and the dining area - are young and impatient. During the summer season when this place is busy, they can be surly, giving the eye as you select the fish you'd like to purchase, even if you are placing a large order. There is a large garbage hamper in the parking lot and during hot summer months there have been times it stinks badly, the seagulls love it, though.

The Frisky Oyster offers imaginative cuisine in a sophisticated, metropolitan atmosphere craved by locals and visitors for years. Our menu changes daily to showcase the most exceptional, local ingredients. The local and international wine list is personally selected to compliment the current menu. Starting at 5pm, we offer dinner in our stylish dining room or at the buzzing bar. DJ Frisky turns up the beat as the energy level rises after 9pm.
This was our second time at the frisky oyster. The food was good, wine list good and service very good. The menu has some interesting offerings and are well prepared and presentation quite nice. Oysters incredible, pork chop over polenta very good. few drawbacks: acoustics pretty bad, could hardly have any conversation, very noisy and crowded in a little too tight for my liking. Although food, presentation and service good, I found it to be a bit pricey. Also, any diners with food allergies , this is not the best place to dine!

Working waterfront revival on the half shell. Shuck your own oysters at one of the waterfront picnic tables. Shucking instruction and gear provided! Oysters on the halfshell also available. Featuring our own Little Creek oysters from Peconic Bay as well as the amazing oysters from our fellow growers from across the east end of Long Island. We work grower direct and only carry the freshest of oysters. Our offering change weekly. Beer and wine offered, in addition to light snacks. Seating is very limited, communal tables available.
This place has amazing oysters!!
They were very fresh and great taste. Although they are expensive, they have the option for you for shuck your own for half the price so a pretty good deal.
There is an interesting New England clam chowder which does not have flour so it is not as thick. However, the taste was good and it had a light texture.
Their version of the Bloody Mary called a Pierson is amazing. There was a lot of horseradish and good tomato juice, but the real difference is the option for sake or beer instead of the traditional vodka.
All of this would indicate a 5 rating, but there were two problemS. There was communal seating which can make for awkward situations as it did in my situation. The two of us and a group of four moved to the only 4 seats left in the place. Fortunately, the other group found their own place a few minutes later. Also, I felt that the service was slow and inattentive. However, the place was packed so it might have been the number of people there.
Overall it was a great experience and excellent oysters.

Casual, eclectic dining with full service bar. Food is house-made, locally sourced when possible, organic or antibiotic & hormone-free from the finest purveyors. Full-service at tables & on the mezzanine. Specialty food store department offers fine imported foods & ingredients to take home. Take out menu available, including legendary fried chicken, etc.
What a cozy store. It is very small but worth eating there or taking out.
We had mac and cheese, which was amazing - it was almost like mac and cheese with lasagna twist. Not too cheap cheesy taste but we enjoyed this sophisticated way of modern mac and cheese. Delicious! Fried chicken was amazing- I could have ordered and eaten more! Lemonade was also bingo- delicious and not too sweet but just right!
We ended up returning after dinner to take out apple crumb and local ice cream, which was absolutely delicious.
