My friend and I were debating where to go for lunch when we passed GROVERS. She was in the mood for soup and had never been to GROVERS (I had been once before).....so we decided to turn around and go back. We sat at the bar rather than waiting for a table. The CHEESEBURGER SOUP was just as outstanding as I recalled it being. The BLT we split was very good. The prices are a bit high and its a small place, and it was very crowded on this Saturday afternoon. Service was very good.

Stopped in for a quick bite. First thing I noticed was how busy the place was. Ordered the fried bologna and a steak sandwich, curly fries and shakes. Notice the kitchen was like an assembly line which was working like a well oiled machine. Impressive. Food was out quickly considering how busy. Found a table outside which was perfect. Food was hot and tasty. Prices were very reasonable. Think this will be a place I frequent a little more often.

There are no words adequate to describe Paula's doughnuts! Once you've had some, any others taste like manufactured 'fast food'. They' weigh a ton; are big enough to share and if you can't eat it all, most varieties freeze well !

Stopped by the Griffon Gastro Pub for a business function. It checked all the right boxes. It was a nice casual atmosphere with fantastic food. They have an extensive beer selection; dozens of draft selections. Unfortunately after one pint of a beer I really liked, they let me know they ran out. That was the only negative for the night. I had the chicken and waffle sandwich which was a great choice. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the jalapeño slaw with the maple mayo was a perfect compliment. The waffle was also perfect, super fluffy and crisp on the outside. I substituted for the hand dipped onion rings which were also very good. The colleagues I was there with also thoroughly enjoyed their food as well. This is definitely a place to visit.

I had lunch with friends who recommended Zoe Restaurant. I don’t often go to Greek restaurants, so I ordered something I was familiar with - chicken Souvlaki. One friend ordered breakfast, which is served all day, and the other ordered a BLT sandwich. My lunch was very good and was enough for another lunch or dinner.

One of the newest Tim Hortons on the end cap of the new Transit Road and Clarence Center plaza is located at a fairly busy intersection, but access is very easy with multiple entryways, a drive thru and a fair amount of shared parking. A typical Tim Horton’s layout although smaller than other locations was well maintained, has plenty of table-chair seating options, and a comfortable seating area by a gas fireplace. The counter is front and center beyond the dining area and when you enter the illuminated drop down menu overhead is easy to see. All Tim Horton’s (TH) team members were dressed in their Tim Horton’s attire with name tags, hairnets and head coverings. When I was placing my order, I could see one of the TH team members attending to the drive thru which I am certain sees a lot of traffic. My order taken by a friendly TH team member (toasted 12 grain bagel with light cream cheese and large decaffeinated coffee) was prepared immediately after I paid my bill as my coffee was quickly poured and my bagel toasted, topped with cream cheese and handed to me in no time as I was getting my order to-go. Tall windows makeup the exterior walls of this venue providing lots of natural light, unobstructed views of the outside activity and makes this location appear larger. The single-gender accessible restroom with motion-operated accessories was well maintained. In summary, Tim Horton’s on Transit Road and Clarence Center is a really good site as it is easy to get in and out of this location even though this is a busy part of town. The expected Tim Horton’s experience occurred during my visit as service was excellent, food and beverage consistent, and this venue is fully accessible.

This is a nice place to go with friends. Friendly atmosphere, good music on weekends, great Brussels sprouts and sauerkraut. The schnitzel and beef dish is missing something.
Potato pancakes lack taste, and both times I had sweet potato pancakes they were burnt.the sausages are good but again lack robust flavor. Still a fun place to go.

Chesters offers great food in a casual atmosphere at very reasonable prices! We love the gumbo, the casadea, the crawfish, and all their dinners- especially the prime rib special on Saturday! They also offer non-spicy foods like their fish fry, burgers, fingers, and great salads! It's our go-to casual restaurant.

Although the seating here is fairly ordinary, the food is excellent, the people here are friends and always have a good word. I usually get take out here with nearly a hundred different sandwiches to choose from, as well as pizza, burgers etc..readonable priced.
