Dumai is dearth of tourist attraction and hence few will ever venture to this charming laid back developing city still in its infancy. Finding a contemporary cafe in Dumai on par with global conglomerate like coffee bean and Starbucks is rarer than finding the latest Hollywood blockbuster dvd in North Korea. Vienna Coffee & Tea shop fills this void. It is clean, air conditioned and furnished with a clean toilet. Whatever you can find in Starbucks, you can get it here for less than half the price. A great place to rest and relax to escape the heat , dust and humidity of this city.

This place is now airy and looks clean. There is one table in an air-conditioned room for one table only. Very nice
The food is delicious. This place is known for its seafood and they grill everything over a charcoal fire. We had chicken, prawns and fish. There is a coconut style marinade and then grilled. Absolutely delicious
Highly recommended.

I personally recommend Baluik Goreng Kariang (Crispy Fried Eel) with green chillies and shallot sauce, along with several other dishes. The place is suitable for a business lunch, a meal with family, or a get together with friends.
However, the menu is lack of variety of vegetables. The owner should add more vegetables to the table to balance the high-fat and cholesterol main course.

Nothing special about this restaurant except that the whole building was built from wood material, top to bottom. The food however were just ordinary Riau cuisine with small variety. But If you are looking for the unique place to enjoy your dinner, you come to the right place since I didn't see other restaurant building in the area similar to this one. One other thing of this restaurant is that they sell the vast variety of salted fish for you to cook at home.

This place is the new one in dumai city, good place because far from crowded. Sometime have live music performance. Food and drink is good taste, price is standart.
