Located in Western Pennsylvania approx. two hours east of Ohio is a little gem called Luigi's....
We have dined here over the past 20 years and have always had a GREAT meal.
I know people from Pittsburgh that will travel to this wonderful restaurant to try out the Italian dishes. The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly. Sometimes you will find a trainee but this restaurant has that hometown touch that makes everyone feel welcome. Hundreds of family pics and famous people in photos hang on the walls which makes it a delight to look through.
If you are near Dubois, PA, take some time for Luigi's!

We wanted something sweet and saw this pastry shop. Owner is very friendly, he was about to close and needed help to move a wedding cake as he was alone, I helped and must say the cake was a masterpiece, with so much attention to detail. He took us in the back and opened his refrigerator doors to have us choose our pastries. We took them back to our place and they were all great. Dubois should support this establishment, as you are very fortunate to have this place. Prices are reasonable.

Outstanding food! Soft relaxing atmosphere. The homemade blue cheese dressing on the BLACK & BLUE STEAK SALAD was so good we went back the next night! Also the Rocky Top Ice Cream Pie was truly a t-die-for dessert!

Meadows frozen custard continues to be wonderful. If you never have had real 'custard' you really need to try. They vary flavors day to day. But even the Vanilla is a real treat. You can get other things sundaes ...etc... also. One note that this place is in an unusual spot and not right on the main road, and not seen. GPS did however find it.

In a Dunkin' Donuts world up here in pa this place is refreshing. Very good quality donut. Great service. Call early and have them hold some of the more popular ones because they sell out quick. I am not from the area so it was a little hard to find, but so worth it.

Buck's Pizza offers a comfortable, family-friendly full-service dining room and convenient take-out. We use the best ingredients available and take great pride in our food and service.
I really liked the food. I had deep fried ravioli and a pizza. The pizza prices are cheap, in my opinion, but the quality is great. The deep fried ravioli was tasty. The waiters and waitresses were all very friendly. I sat at the bar so I got to see them interacting with each other quite a bit. The staff really seem to get along well and I think that adds to the friendly nature of the restaurant. Well done folks.

This is one of the local favs. Their hoagies are one of a kind. They use a whole loaf of homemade bread and stuff it with over three pounds of meats and cheeses. They will wrap it and cut it in 4 pieces then re-wrap it so it will be 4 lunch snacks.

We’d had a buffet style breakfast/brunch, which included a large variety of choices, most of which were tasty, and a few of which had spent too much time in the heating pans. Overall, the food was alright. And the area we’d rented was well laid-out for the event.

A fun an corky little place. That won't break your family bank account. I loved and appreciated the menu at the ( Chicken Coop) Where Nothing on the menu is over $5.00.Repeat nothing on the menu is over $5.00.This is unheard of in today's world of food. They also have Penn State Creamy Ice Cream. There are concrete walk ways between the buildings.Which is neat an well kept. But watch out for the awesome photo opportunities you can get with these life size Statue's of: Sasquatch, Dinosaurs,Train Car, Amish Buggy, an a few other things.I don't wanna ruin it for ya.Theres also Lazer Tag, Party Barn for Birthday parties,a Mini Golf full of different types of Dinosaurs.I Even got to set on the cow shaped bench.I believe there's a small petting zoo too. What unquie an fun place this is.I will be back again an again with my grandchildren. I recommend to go off the beaten path and enjoy a little corky fun with your family for some unforgettable laughs an memories that you will get from visiting here.
