Best poutine EVER & served with TONS of crispy fries! AMAZINGLY delicious!! I have eaten poutine many times in many Canadian cities and Chip Box's poutine is truly one of the very best at a low cost!! Euro dogs were LARGE & tasty!!! DO STOP HERE IF IN DRYDEN!! I think this is one of those small outdoor restaurants that has become a landmark!
( WARNING! Be certain to use a restroom beforehand since there are no public restrooms here or in the area! )

We stopped for lunch here on our way to Thunder Bay to catch an evening flight. I had not tried DQ Brazier for years but had fond memories of juicy flame-broiled burgers.
It was the noon "rush" perhaps 6 orders up. Wait was terrible - 25 minutes+. Drive-through orders seemed to get priority. Chicken and burger had been cooked ahead and reheated. I saw the employee microwave my burger in the wrapper after the toppings were put on. Soggy bun, dry meat ...well below par.
Fires were crispy and generous. My colleague had no complaints about the dessert item.
Beware - washrooms were outside and locked upon arrival. Upon being unlocked a queue formed to get in (single-hole). Nasty, fowl, and not a good place to linger.
Perhaps we came on a bad day but it appears that this facility is not up to the scope of the menu, volume of business and standards of the franchise.

I ate here on a solo business trip. There was a variety of Chinese and Canadian options at a reasonable price to choose from. I chose a combination platter, which was prepared fresh. Everything was very tasty, and the service was fast and friendly. I would eat here again.

Went to Kuppers for lunch while in town for work. I had been there years ago and it looks exactly as I remember it; pastel colours and wicker furniture. The food was okay-i had a chicken parm Sandwich which was on a very small bun and the shoestring fries were not very hot. Decent place to go and would likely visit again; just not raving about it.

Serving lunch and dinner. Fine dining 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm Monday to Saturday in the dining room. Lounge meals available 11:00 am to 10:00 pm Monday to Saturday. Closed Sundays and major holidays.
DO NOT miss eating at the Riverview Lodge when in Dryden, Ontario! This is one excellent restaurant you do not want to miss! The rustic restaurant decor has been preserved beautifully, the wait staff is extremely polite & helpful, and the dinner menu choices were so varied, it was hard to decide what to order. If you love escargot - order them here! They were served bubbly hot in garlic butter sauce with toast wedges. YUM! Their Caesar salad had "real" homemade bacon bits, crunchy croutons, & topped with shaved parmesan cheese - delicious! My main meal was prime rib which was cooked to perfection - medium rare, flavorful, & very tender. If you order the baked potato, a waitress appears with condiments to load your potato! ( See photos! ) Sadly, I was way too full to try their homemade ice cream or other desserts. Highly recommend eating here, you will return!

Located on highway 594 just outside the city of Dryden, this restaurant is part of a family business that includes a park with trailer sites and a small store as well as the restaurant. The menu is simple and the food is all home cooked by the owner. Seating is limited but comfortable. The restaurant is open 5 days a week, closed on Sundays and Mondays. The prices are reasonable. Portions are large and satisfying. Locals and tourists frequent the restaurant but the majority of Dryden city residents have indicated in the past they feel it is "too far out of town". I do not concur with this idea, as the trip to the restaurant from the city is about 5-7 minutes driving. I have been to this restaurant for lunch several times and enjoy the atmosphere which is very relaxed, friendly and laid back. If you want to socialize there is opportunity to do that, but if you prefer your privacy and don't want to converse, that is fine too. The washrooms are in an adjoining part of the building, easily accessible and "homey" rather than institutional.
A little gem of a place, this is a great place to stop to grab a bite before heading to the USA from Dryden, upon one's return from the USA, or just as a place to go to experience great homemade cooking, alone or with friends and or family. I would recommend this as a place to eat, and when I go for local rides on my bike this year, it will be another great place to stop for a break.

Was lunch time when I went in yesterday so I was kind of expecting a line up and there was. BUT, the ladies serving the sandwiches were going really quick. Took less then 10 minutes to get to me. Friendly service, and the ladies had all smiles. The subs were really fresh and made to order. Great job Subway!

the food here is very bland and really not very good. While inexpensive, that does make up for the poor quality. You would be better off to eat somewhere else in the town of Dryden.

This restaurant serves East Indian and Greek Cuisine. All authentic homemade dishes. Daily lunch & dinner buffet & menu items.
WOW! Owner & Chef Saij does it all!! With his very own special homemade recipes, you cannot go wrong choosing any Indian, Greek, Thai, or Canadian/American meal. This made it very hard to decide what to eat - everything sounded wonderful. The Indian buffet & salad bar was available or one can order from the menu. Since I was not overly hungry, I finally picked his Greek salad & spinach spanakopita with an order of naan bread. Delicious! My better half had the crunchy battered cod fish burger on naan bread with homemade chipotle mayo! It came with a ton of crispy fries! YUM!
Since we ate late, near closing time, we had an opportunity to speak with Saij who told us of his love of creating wonderful recipes for his restaurant & why he has the many choices of meals. Something for everyone! As we left, I noticed we could take some of the Indian candy coated fennel/anise seeds that taste like licorice which also aid with digestion. They are an after-meal Indian treat called "mukhwas" which is hard to find except in an Indian grocery store. When I told Saij how much I liked them, he gave me some to take home! So nice!! Rare to find an owner who loves his work, is a talented chef, takes time to please his customers, & is so very courteous, thoughtful, & kind! We will definitely be back to sample more of his cooking when in Dryden! The people of Dryden are so very fortunate to have Marsala's restaurant!!!
