This place is crowded but it is understandable why. They serve very delicious food. We ordered spicy chicken with pasta and it was good combination. Local stated that olive is the best but we have not tried yet, maybe next time. There is a bar behind this restaurant. You can go and have fun after pleasant dinner :)

It is a very pleasant cafe situated in the inner square of Dronten's shopping center. The food is nice, they claim to use organic produce. The pricing is also adequate. In summer almost every weekend they invite a band that play and sing.

The restaurant is rather small. It can accomodate about 40 people. The service is pleasant and friendly. The food is rather simple, but it tastes good.

We sell local fries - potato's harvested in our polder, stored, peeled en cut in Biddinghuizen (next village) en fried here fresh. Our Bigfeetburgers are a sight to behold and really tasty. We have free Wifi access for our customers, you can have a full meal with icecream and/or milkshake for onder 10 Euro's. Store in store - Fresh fruit Smoothies - the snack of the 21st century. You're welcome to visit us!
Ruime keus in vegetarische (en andere verantwoorde) snacks! Super.

Driving through endless flatlands, where once was sea and now is land, one cannot imagine anything but a shack when it says: beachpavillion at sea, this way.
But it's not just a shack. Although it's exterior is not very remarkable, nor is its otherwise fine Terrace, the interior is not what you would expect here. It is more Amsterdam than polder, much much more.
It has large tables. One even large enough to sit a group of twenty without problems. It has a replica of Rembrandts Nachtwacht hanging on one of the walls. Although not wide enoug, it has the actual hight of the original. It is vast, it is dark, it has fireplaces, it has been flatbedded to this spot from somewhere grand!
So, what about the rest of it? Service, food, drinks? Alas, it's ok, but not more. Heineken operated it has the usual array of drinks, Afflichem and such. It has Imperator Beer on tap, which I saw too late... The menu is ok, not very special but everything served did not dissapoint. It's kind of classic dutch restaurant, sateh, pork loin, ribeye. Tiramisu, profiterolle, icecream. Did I mention the Soup of the day?
But it has nice bread, I must add, and nice staff. They did not hesitate to serve extra fries for the kids, unsollicited. Oh, and you can go there by boat. They have a sandbox for the little ones, clean toilets, ample parking space and a long range bike path passing by.
So why don't you take a look for yourself?

I entered this restaurant at 12.15 hrs needing a quick lunch I ordered two Kwekkeboom croquettes with bread and a cappuccino 4/5. The fryer was still cold so preparing the croquettes should take to much time, so I ordered the standard Dutch "uitsmijter", two sandwiches with 3 fried eggs and a little site salad. 4/5, tasty and fast. The service is friendly and efficient 4/5, the restaurant cosy decorated and clean. 4/5 Reason to come back when in the region.
