A place we go to every time we're in Depoe Bay. Excellent, friendly service. Nice menu with daily specials. Adequate wine and cocktail list...with some unusual combinations worth trying (single malt scotch, sherry and orange bitters for instance).
Pleasant atmosphere suitable for couples or families.
A very good value.

We are family owned business producing high quality products. We offer fresh roasted coffees from ports around the world (we do our own roasting). We provide retail and wholesale offerings. Our locations carry fresh brewed coffee and espresso delights. We carry fine chocolates made freshly by our Chocolatiers. We have fresh baked products available too, our bakers are always busy. Please drop in for a visit and a cup of coffee that's been voted "Best of the Best"
Pirate theme is throughout the shop. Huge sign saying it the best coffee in the neighborhood. It was good strong and smokey. Parking was not good and in the center of the little strip for parking was a trailer parked. Pirate merchandise for sale.

Handcrafted pastries, generous portions, affordable; my husband insists we stop in each trip to the Oregon Coast, and we've been stopping in intermittently for years. Huge fruit fritters, always maple glazed apple and a rotation of other fruits on a daily basis. His favorite: marionberry fritters on Sunday. Too sweet for me, but a bran muffin or cinnamon roll fits me perfectly. You can also purchase a loaf of fresh-baked bread to enjoy later.
Tiny spot and just baked goods, but perfect if you love fritters, doughnuts, cookies, muffins, bread, etc. I even saw crullers recently.
Closed Mondays & Tuesdays so plan accordingly.

Just opened July 2011. Excellent food with a great view of the boats in the harbor.
Was so sorry when they left Depoe Bay and moved to Lincoln City, but I'll gladly make the drive! Montri's food will stack up against any Thai food anywhere. Love the Crying Tiger, and I actually have dreams about the Curry Powder Noodles. Order anything on the menu -- you won't be disappointed.

We are a coffee roaster, specializing in Grade 1 Select, Organic, Fair Trade Coffees. We Also have a coffee house featuring a full espresso bar, and fresh baked pastries from our own kitchen. Established in 2000, as a micro roaster, roasting our coffees one pound at a time. Expanded into our coffee house in 2003. Our look is modern warehouse with a contemporary appeal. Come relax, enjoy the smells of fresh roasted coffee, or get it to go through our convenient drive through. We do offer Free WiFi to our customers.
Stopped in for a quick coffee and found an awesome coffee house. The coffee was amazing, as was the service. We tend to be coffee snobs who love our 100% Kona beans, I have to share that Big Mountain exceeded our expectations!

My brother and I have been on a fishing vacation in Depoe Bay, Oregon. My favorite spot for breakfast and lunch is the Sea Breeze Bakery and Café. This week, however, they just moved two blocks North to a larger building with inside and outside seating. They were not cooking lunch but the baked goods were still phenomenal! I bought apple fritters each day for both the boat and Dockside Charters. My brother and I also ate crème filled donuts and buttermilk donuts along with bacon/cheese croissants.
The service is great and is now run by Taylor and a great staff. The view from the new building is fantastic and looks out on beautiful Depoe Bay harbor.

Restaurant is located inside the Whale Cove Inn. The quality of food served is certainly gourmet, but the service delivery is not 5 stars. We arrived at 5 pm for our reservation and had to wait 5 minutes. (Not a major issue, but somewhat interesting at this hour.) The server was certainly a nice person, but not really providing high end service. I've dined at many upscale restaurants over the years and when paying the price tag associated with meals such as this there is an expectation that the meal will be served with far greater attention to detail. For example: It took 20 minutes after being seated for bread to arrive (we were being repeatedly told it was still in the oven, not sure why something this simple was not ready to go right at 5pm). A bottle of white wine was ordered and we were asked if we wanted a bucket to keep it chilled. (This should always just be brought and never asked.) The fish I ordered came with a unique mushroom sauce, which was forgotten to be put on and finally arrived after I was half-way through dinner. A brief "sorry we forgot about this sauce" message was given, but there was no sincere offer made to accommodate the error (ie. a new properly presented fish or even a complimentary dessert or small after dinner cheese platter.) The foods I ate were of high quality, but I would not eat here again as the gourmet price tag is not matched with a gourmet delivery experience.

We’ve dined at this location several times. The food is always good and the service is prompt and friendly. I highly recommend eating here.

This restaurant was within walking distance of where I was staying during a vacation. I did take-out my first night in Depoe Bay and ate at the restaurant another day. The views from the restaurant were amazing. The taco was excellent, but I was not much of a fan of the spinach tamale or enchilada.

The food and the beers here were nothing special. I got a pizza with GF crust that was fine. They had a nice spicy ketchup that came with the sweet potato fries that was pretty awesome. Very family friendly with a place upstairs for the kids.
Views are what make it special. You have a great view of the ocean and no doubt during the right time of the year would be able to see the whales as well.
