Denton's Premier Irish Pub!
Based on recommendations we decided to take a detour and visited. Unfortunately the chicken sandwich my wife ordered was not eatable. My order was for the Ruben which was just fair at best. The atmosphere was fine. If you are going just for drinks you might just enjoy it otherwise I would take a pass on this place.

Last visit here, where I usually stop for a cup of coffee on my way from the Delaware shore to DC, was disappointing. Doughnut holes stale. Coffee fine. Ladies room seriously lacking: no soap, no toilet paper! Place just not being kept up.

Classic italian pizza, and authentic italian cusine.
Sal's, in a strip mall in Denton (next to the Dollar Tree} is the kind of straightforward excellent Italian place I grew up with in North Jersey in the 60's. The Sicilian pizza is wonderful. The food and wine prices are good and the service friendly. The Italian sub is very good too. If you get there early (10:30 ish) it will just be you and Sal. A true delight. A great stop on your drive to the beach!

Service is good. Prices are competitive for local seafood. Anything else you need to be knowledgeable about seafood as they are not. Ex. The frozen salmon I asked for was not wild caught Atlantic, but farm raised. It's a different color than wild caught. Plus, at the time Atlantic Salmon was illegal to catch. I did not find shrimp to be any better or worse than what could be found at the supermarket. That includes pricing. Crabs looked good but too pricey all over the eastern shore. It's a good place to go for personal service.

We wanted to stop for dinner on the way back from the beach and found Harry's on Trip Advisor. What a pleasant surprise. The food was very good, the ambience is great, the service very friendly and attentive, and Harry was there to add humor and interest. The décor in the house that is the restaurant is wonderful. Generous drinks and a great amaretto-meringue dessert. Would definitely stop there again.

I have only ordered for delivery. The thick, Sicilian style pizza is a delight if you like thick, gooey cheese pizza (I do). I have ordered the vegetarian repeatedly and I never been disappointed. I always ask for "lightly baked". Warm up your oven to 225F while waiting. Take out your first slice and pop the whole box (minus plastic picks) right into the oven.
Their garden salads are large and full of tomatoes and cucumbers. Fat free dressing is available.

It's pretty good....and actually, since the plaza was re-done and they moved down a couple spots, it's definitely improved. New fryers and new cooking equipment maybe?
Overall, considering it's a pretty typical Chinese take out place, the last several times I've been, it's been pretty good and overall it's probably slightly above the average. I'm 99% certain almost all "China King" and "China House" and "China Delight" type places use mostly the same frozen meats/sauces/mixes/frozen vegetables. There's not a huge amount of variance between them.
For an awesome and relatively unknown place with great Chinese food made from fresh vegetables and ingredients...and Japanese dishes (including sushi)....check out Rice in Dover DE. However....it's about 40 minutes away. In Japan in Easton is also pretty good, but you end up spending more at the hibachi style places.

We dropped in for dinner last Sunday night and I tried something new, the Seafood Scampi. Nice white wine/garlic sauce so not creamy or heavy served with angel hair pasta. Lots of Shrimp and Mahi chunks and 2 pieces of garlic toast. I'd definitely order it again. My wife enjoyed her Caesar Salad and Coconut Shrimp. With ice teas, our bill came out to $40 before gratuity. Our server, the bartender was very friendly and attentive...it was quiet on the bar side where we sat (high tops). Ample parking out front.

No better or worse than any other Arby's as far as the food is concerned. I had a very long wait though, but the other fast food places nearby are no better.

The food is really fresh. You get to pick the type of bread, the meat and cheeses, and any of the many toppings that are displayed behind the glass counter. The servers are efficient (but seem to be a little distracted much of the time) and friendly. For the most part the place is clean (but the men's room could be better). It's a good stopping point when going to or from the beach.
