For good home style Greek food, this is the place. Friendly service. Be prepared to wait in line! It is not fancy, small and tables close together, so don't expect to have a romantic setting! It is reasonably priced for the delicious, generous portions.

Had a wonderful lunch there today. I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness. It does not show it's age! The food was excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely going back again ...and again...and again!

We have been regulars at Urban Brick for over a year, and just love everything about the place. With being vegetarians we have always found plenty of options from pasta to sandwiches, and of course the amazing pizza. The pretzel appetizer with the chocolate dipping sauce, is unreal! The salads are the freshest around.
Rose the owner, is always so welcoming and accommodating and the staff is very pleasant as well. Overall this place always scores a perfect score for us.

I usually do not go to Mexican restaurants and do not care for most Mexican food. However, one day recently I ventured out of my comfort zone. I had the following item from the menu and found it to be surprisingly good.
Turkey Pura Vida Sandwich
Sliced Turkey, sweet plantains, queso blanco, white onions, and green onions. Lightly covered with a delicious Costa Rican Lizano glaze. Served on organic, vegan brioche bread and a side of tostones and a delicious mango dipping sauce.

This place is a dive. It's obviously popular with the local seniors who prefer overcooked vegetables and mushy food--and that's exactly what you'll get. Our waitress was lovely, as was the hostess. Emmy, herself, was overly familiar and made us uncomfortable. The bathroom, however, was the worst--tiny, airless, and filled with the smell of sewage. The small air freshener on the back of the toilet failed to mask the odor. It was awful. I'll never go back. If I want good German food, I'll go to The Willow Tree in Sanford, which is far superior in terms of quality, service, and ambience.

In 1968, we were just a local BBQ joint in Gainesville, Florida. Today, we're still a local BBQ joint. We just happen to be in a few more locations. But we still do things the same way Floyd "Sonny" Tillman and his wife, Lucille, did back then. We still slow-smoke over oak for up to 12 hours at a time. We still serve generous portions. And we still believe people should be able to go out to eat and feel right at home.
We arrived and were told it was a 15 minute wait. Within 10 minutes we were seated and ordering our drinks and an appetizer. Food was good, waitress was fine but our silverware was dirty! Waitress was very sorry, but hey things happen out of...MoreThank you for reachin’ out, Karen. We appreciate you takin' the time to leave your review and will be sure to pass this along to our team. Thanks for your feedback and we hope to see you again soon!

We met here with a large group of friends for dinner. It was very busy and the staff were super friendly and accommodating (moved a table so we could fit more people). The food was very good, great prices, and convenient downtown location.

The attraction is the deliciously unique assortment of specialty drinks and the award winning food selection as well as the finest coffees. There is also a private meeting room available for special occasions and other functions. Throw in free wifi for internet browsing and a lounge with comfortable sofas to sit back and relax, and you have something for everyone; great coffee, delicious breakfast and lunch menus, a place to meet for business or social occasions, or a place to grab a cup of coffee and a fabulous dessert and relax for a while with a good book.
we stopped in to have an afternoon coffee and snack in this quaint coffee shop on a side street near downtown Deland. They have many fresh brewed coffees and some awesome looking homemade desserts in their case. I had a regular coffee( not into all that fancy coffee drinks), and had a espresso brownie which was rich and dense and perfectly done, not too fudgie and not too dry. They also do breakfast and sandwiches and it looks like a hangout for the college crowd but it was a good mix of people when we were there. Worth a visit!

ZAGAT Guide:TOP Orlando Restaurant & America's Top Restaurants. Cress is a critically acclaimed global brasserie, with Farm-to-Table cuisine, located in Historic Downtown DeLand, Florida. Cress has always been dedicated to sourcing local produce that is inspired by the subtle changes in the Florida seasons. The cornerstone of the restaurant blends fresh market ingredients, exotic flavors, and refined presentation. Our serving staff creates a dialogue about food; for Cress is about the story or our land. The goal is to provide a connection that complements the complexity of the food the Cress kitchen creates with where our food comes from and with the individuals who are growing them. Knowing your farmer, dairyman, cattlemen, and fishermen. Offering 3-Course and Chef's Tastings only.
Reservations 24 hours in advance are required so they can order correct amount of food from local sources. That's one of the touches that makes this restaurant feel personalized. It's an appropriately small place that's intimate with music in the background. They offer a three course meal with appetizer, entree and dessert choices with or without wine pairings for one price. The owner/chef took a few minutes away from the kitchen to greet guests. The server was attentive but never obtrusive. Price includes gratuity so all in all it was a rare fabulous meal in a comfortable setting with excellent service at a bargain price. Thanks to the Cress owners for a unique dining experience.

The restaurant in an old home, built in 1910. It has recently been restored to accentuate it's original beauty and craftsmanship. It is warm and homey, just like home. The beautiful stained glass windows are the homes original windows. The grounds are landscaped with lush green and colorful plants.
What an interesting concept for restaurants. It is a buffet yet a sit-down meal at the same time. The service is outstanding and the salad bar is over-the-top! Every single topping for the salad bar you can imagine. It can be a meal in itself. The hot foods are amazing. The London Broil and prime rib was outstanding! Not to mention the several different soups available on the buffet. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for people that have varying taste in their party. You won't be disappointed.
