This place is great. Found it using TripAdvisor even though I've lived in HP all my life. I shared the Rosemary Chicken Sandwich with herb aioli and the Braised Short Rib with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and they were both great. The bread they brought was amazing and it came with Honey-Cinnamon butter. We got two desserts, the Bananas Foster and Chocolate Bread Pudding. The Bread Pudding was amazing and the Bananas foster was good. We will defiantly be back soon.

Cadwell's Grille uses only the freshest ingredients to create our contemporary take on classic American comfort fare. From soup and appetizers to salads and our large dinners, everyone is sure to find a new favorite on our menu. We offer locally inspired contemporary American eats nestled in the seven-story atrium of Embassy Suites Chicago North Shore/Deerfield. Indulge in some of our locally inspired signature dishes like our spicy fish tacos, roasted beet salad with walnut oil vinaigrette, rotisserie half chicken with rosemary au jus, baby back ribs served with our house made coleslaw or the build 'yo burger 'yo way bar piled high with all the fixing's and for dessert try our famous sea salted caramel sundae with Chicago Mix popcorn and bacon dust. No matter your choice, our restaurant has the perfect option for even the most discerning palate.
Cadwell Grille is truly a hidden gem! Tucked away in the Embassy Suites in Deerfield, this restaurant should be a "go to" for locals!
Chef Robert provides a better than average menu with interesting specials daily. Sunday and Monday's are "game nights" with specials on Wings and Chili. The chili is extraordinary! Hopefully, the chili will remain as a special well after football season.
The regular menu is varied and provides many delicious options. Overall, we have never been disappointed in the quality of the food or service.
We have routinely asked to have either Hermilo or Anna as our server. Both are excellent and make our visit most enjoyable.

A fusion of South American flavors...
This restaurant has a Spanish flair--many dishes are like tapas and most are great for sharing. Four of us gorged ourselves on some of the "small plates" like mushrooms, shrimp, and were stuffed by the time the entrees arrived. Beautiful presentation on the food! Great place to share specialty cocktails and food.

A friend invited me to this place for lunch and while it is rather small, it certainly is not a hole in the wall. It is located on a main road but it is set back, so look for it. The decor is really classy and the atmosphere is warm. It was relatively busy for lunch. The menu is on the wall and there are plenty of options from which to choose. My friend and I went with different pasta dishes and we were both pleasantly surprised. Delicious! Prices are very reasonable. Desserts are also available and we ordered a cake slice. It was huge, so plan to share it unless you are very hungry! We look forward to going here again very soon!

Handcrafted for Five Generations Since 1870. Louis and Regina Graeter started handcrafting Graeter's Ice Cream in 1870. Today, generations later, we proudly remain family owned and operated. This is made possible thanks to you, our legion of loyal fans. For a century and a half, Graeter's has remained steadfast in our commitment to making ice cream in 2 gallon French Pots one batch at a time.
Lost a bet and the prize was Graeter's. I think I actually won! The Black Raspberry Chocolate Chunk was pure heaven. Even in 15degree weather. I found the portions to be good sized. The staff could have been friendlier but they weren't rude. Samples were free flowing.

Simply put, this is one of the best bakeries in the Chicagoland area. They don't have a weak suit, so go early for the best selection. They also have great coffee. I like the coffee cakes, donuts, three brothers brownies (so good!), and their pecan rolls. Haven't found anything I didn't like, just some things that I like better than others. Friendly and helpful staff. They need more parking, but its worth a short jog across Waukegan Road.

Lots of egg, pancake, French toast and waffle options on this extensive menu. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The eggs delicious. The peanut butter stuffed French toast is a must!!!! Our family devoured this family shared treat!!! We will definitely return when we visit the area again!

You come here for ribs and they are almost always good. Even with reservations, the wait on weekends can be a half hour. The bar serves good drinks and the chipped chicken liver and cheese with crackers are super and free. The salads are first rate and desserts are also good. Service varies and sometimes is rather slow. It always noisy as the brick interior does not absorb sound. Good parking.

Their favorite is the strawberry waffle with whipped cream. They have a nice kid’s menu with pancake and egg dishes. I had a veggie omelet with hash browns- both were okay. Large portion of hash browns. Service was good and we had no wait on a rainy Saturday morning.

I have lived in Deerfield since 1981 and I cannot remember Deerfield without this bastion of the bagel. We have been eating their bagels as long as I can remember and I do remember when they originally opened up that they advertised their location as having authentic NYC bagel making equipment. They never disappoint us and serve us well from a small location in the center of Deerfield. Bagels from Upper Crust don't ever not get eaten and they always give you freezer bags so that if you are slow on the eating, that you don't waste them. Needless to say, our bagels usually don't get to the freezer. Hit this one up for the best in local bagels and service.
On a side note, the eating area is tiny and they even have outside tables. It is meant mainly for pick up and that is what we usually do.
