Dawson Creek is a city in northeastern British Columbia, Canada. The municipality of 24.37 square kilometres (9.41 sq mi) had a population of 11,583 in 2011. Dawson Creek derives its name from the creek of the same name that runs through the community. The creek was named after George Mercer Dawson by a member of his land survey team when they passed through the area in August 1879. Once a small farming community, Dawson Creek became a regional centre after the western terminus of the Northern Alberta Railways was extended there in 1932. The community grew rapidly in 1942 as the US Army used the rail terminus as a transshipment point during construction of the Alaska Highway. In the 1950s, the city was connected to the interior of British Columbia via a highway and railway through the Rocky Mountains. Since the 1960s, growth has slowed.

Boston Pizza restaurants offer a casual dining setting with over 100 menu items including gourmet pizzas made with our signature hand pressed dough. We also have mouth-watering pastas and a wide variety of appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts. The restaurant is perfect for families, teams and groups of all ages and the sports bars have big screen TVs to catch your favourite game. These are the things that keep our guests coming back again and again.
First time we had ever seen or eaten in a Boston Pizza restaurant was in Whitehorse. We were very impressed with the menu, and the pizza we had was excellent. We said we would eat again at another Boston Pizza, and when we found the one in Dawson Creek we did. It turned out to be "Pasta Tuesday" and the pasta dinners were discounted, so we had pasta dinners. We each tried something different, and were very pleased with the dinners we had. Once again, the restaurant was very popular so it was also noisy. It is too bad the chain is only found in Canada.

Even cooks have a bad day once a year. Very good food and value for a locally owned and operated restaurant. Filtered water would really be nice.. Don't like the amount of chlorine in the water.

No fancy frills, no stuffed shirt attitude. Just real people and great food. Everything you want in a steakhouse - only casual.
So to start, my server was very friendly. However that’s the only positive. 1) the bathroom was so dark I had to use my phone flashlight. The urinal is beside the door so if someone walks in, the person in use is the first thing...MoreThanks for your review, I'm sorry we missed the mark for you this visit. It is very expensive... >$10 for a Sandwich... they do not have a soup and Sandwich special. It will cost you >$15 for soup and Sandwich... very expensive.
I was not brought my coffee once I sat down at my table. Definitely needs to update its menu and specials. Often slow, as you pay at the "kitchen" like subway style.

Brown's Social House is a great addition to the list of eating establishments in Dawson Creek. The food is excellent (my favourite is the Cowboy Salad or the Dragon Bowl) and the atmosphere is fun. Highly recommend!

For the price its not worth going. Spent 20 min looking for something to eat and then noticed Keg prices. You want to charge $17.00 for a burger, it better be the best burger I've ever had.

The service was great and friendly. The kids loved the atmosphere and spent a lot of time walking around checking out all the memorabilia. I had a Rueben Sandwich. It was good, but nothing special. The fries were the thick crinkle cut style, I found them a bit dry.

This is the worst restaurant in town for vegetarian food! There's one main option, that's it! As the one option wasn't appealing, I had a side order of yam fries. Small for what you pay for. Service was quick and friendly.

White Spot Restaurants are passionate about fresh, local ingredients & great service. Try award-winning burgers, delicious salads, pastas & more! Open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner & take out.
Needed a quick breakfast and decided to try White Spot. Very clean interior and cozy atmosphere. No French toast available which disappointed my wife. She ordered the Eggs Benedict and they were very good. Waitress made a special point to tell the chef how she wanted them and they delivered.
I had the Chefs special two eggs and backbacon and home fries . Instead of brown toast they had multigrain which was fine. It was very good and the homefries were delicious . Never had them made this way. The menu stated it was endless supply of them so I ordered some more and cleaned my plate.
The one concern was the price, my eggs were $12.99 and the Benedict was also the same. Add that to the coffee which is not included in the meal and the final tally was around $35. It was very good but would not be a regular place to go for breakfast. I did love those homefries though.
