We serve local organic coffee. We have motorbike for rent and we provide free tourist map.
We came here for coffee and cakes. Well actually I came for the Iced Avocado Coffee and cake, much lauded on TripAdviser, but "We have no Avocados" greeted me.
Undeterred we settled for coffee and cake - you can choose your cake in the cafe by pointing. Both we had were very good as was the coffee.
The outside eating area is a bit basic by western taste, but I appreciate that their main clientèle is local, who are happy with it

We arrived to Dawei after a horrific 16 hour train journey from Moulmein in the north.
Four of us got a taxi from the train station and asked the driver to take us someplace moderately priced.
Everywhere seemed booked up, he eventually took us here. My friend hoped out of the taxi to check it out, only to return 3 minutes later shaking his head.
We continued looking to no avail.
We returned to here and booked 4 rooms for 1 night.
No A/C in any of our rooms, just a fan. We had to share a communal shower room and toilet area.
The room was basically a box room, zero storage, a bed and a tiny table.
I paid around £12 for the night.
We were happy to move on to the nearby coastal town the next day.

Fresh and simple
After months of just eating fried noodles and fried rice these burgers were just perfect. Especially, the wedges were really good. Staff was super friendly and helped us looking for our key that fell into a hole in the ground. Totally recommended! Ps. The price is really good as well!

We got into Dawei late after a long travel day and were looking for a healthy dinner. My friend is vegan, and Tavoy Kitchen was the perfect answer. Such delicious food, from a simple salad to a variety of spicy noodles to fruit shakes and coffees. This is a caring family affair.
Big bonus: we noticed the Go-Myanmar travel hub sign and wound up having them book a driver for us to explore Dawei Peninsula (the marvelous C Thu), van tickets, and an airline ticket. Appreciate the great advice and help.

We visited this restaurant as a group of 6. A table had been reserved for us and was immaculately set and waiting for us.
When the food was served we were delighted with the quality and taste. The Green Chicken Curry was the best we have ever had.
A venue well worth visiting for the food as well as knowing the restaurant is clean.
The owner is the Chef who has worked in Thailand and has set up a fantastic business.
We will be back in October for another feast.

We are a Thai-Burmese Restaurant run by a local group of friends. We serve Hot Pot with seafood, meat, fresh vegetables and home made green dips. We too have single dishes and all kinds of salad. Esp. the raw prawn is loved among our customers. The Menu has images to point at for your convenience. Lovers come here for a dinner for two and foreigners love the not too spicy but fresh food.
Great hotpot with a Myanmar twist. Choose from red meat, chicken or seafood for the hotpot. Salad for the hotpot comes with all the meat choices. The side salads are also good. The standout amongst much good food are the sashimi prawns (pictured). If you havent tried them before, try them here. Very fresh and finished with a beautiful green sauce.

Stayed at the hotel and ate in this restaurant for 2 nights on our travels from Thailand to Yangon. First night was poor, gave up waiting for our meal and returned to our room, second night a distinct improvement in both food and service. "Restaurant" has a very austere feel to it, lacks any warmth or hospitality. Purely functional as an eating experience.

Our little bakery well known for it's lemon-cheese-cake and banana-cake besides the chocolate cake and our version of German Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte. All cakes are freshly made and taste best together with a mug of filter coffee or a fresh fruit juice. Start your day here or come for a sweet afternoon treat.
Really friendly owner making good western style cakes and some more original creations. Various styles of cheese cakes, a delicious caramel flan style cake or tea/coffee/juices. A great spot if you are in the mood for sthg sweet! Apparently you can get lasagna but you need to order in advance.

We went here because of the sign in front with pictures of food on it. When we sat down they told us they did not have a menu in English, so we ordered Pad Thai, the first thing remembered from the pictures on the sign in front! (The board on the wall with the drink menu on it was in English) Service was fast and the pad Thai came with dishes of sugar, dry chili, fish sauce, and fresh chilis. The portion was enough to fill me up and tasted good. We also ordered a strawberry smoothie. It didn't taste or appear to be fresh strawberries (probably syrup), but it was still good and refreshing. They had a proper-looking coffee grinder, so I bet there coffee is pretty good (but didn't try it). I would eat here again.
