We had breakfast here. They included a delicious little muffin with our coffee. Enjoyed a nice breakfast sandwich and picked up some salads to go...fantastic chicken salad. The coffee smells divine as soon as you open the door in the morning!

First of all, as of our last visit they still don't take cards. Make sure you have cash. It's a fun place for the kids to play on their play toys. Some of these small town establishments don't have the best service. I thought the older lady there to be rude. I want my patronage to be appreciated and it seemed to me like me being there with my family eating their food was an annoyance. The ice cream was good. The regular food was just ok.

FORGED BY HAND. CRAFTED WITH PRIDE. We opened our doors in 2008 with a few goals in mind: - to make the best beer and food possible - to utilize local business, artisans, farmers, and craftsmen whenever possible - to never sacrifice quality for growth Despite the challenges and obstacles along the way, we’ve done a pretty good job sticking to those principles. Going local isn’t always easy, but it’s worth the extra time, money, and effort. It’s better for the community, the local economy, and in the end, all of us. Doing things the right way, rather than the quick way, or cheaper way, is how we operate. It’s real. It’s authentic. It’s Old Forge Brewing Company. When you crack open a can of fresh Old Forge beer or sit at our locally made 500 year old oak bar top, be assured you are in the midst of an authentic American craft beer experience.
Enjoyable meal. Really cute interior and comfortable eating stations where you could hear one another. Chicken salad sandwiches were delicious. Loved that it was not smothered in a lot of mayonnaise allowing for flavors to emerge. Chicken breast sandwich was good as well. For sandwiches are served with tortilla chips. Treated ourselves to Hey Fresh Hartsell. The only thing we did not care for was the beer cheese dip include it with the tortillas. Great service, very attentive waitress. A solid contender you should conwider

I have ordered from here a few times in the morning before work and the line is always extremely long due to everyone going to work. They are extremely quick and you don't have to wait long. My only disappointment are the "reduced fat" muffins that they sell instead of the regular ones.

I attended a conference at Geisinger and the Pine Barn was the most convenient choice as it is situated right across the campus. I had a room that was facing the parking lot on the first floor and I was worried that all the sounds would disturb my sleep. Fortunately, the other guests were not rowdy so I had pretty good night's sleep.
It also got freezing cold during the days that I was at Danville, but the heater worked great and there was always complimentary hot water and hot coffee in the hotel, which is definitely a plus.
The room was adequate for a single person, and bed was comfortable. The only thing that could be improved is probably the bathroom structure. The sink was situated outside of the bathroom (literally inside the room beside your closet), and I found it to be pretty weird and inconvenient. However, given that it is an older hotel, it's probably difficult for a change.
All in all, it's convenient if you are going to nearby places such as Geisinger.

Providence sometimes finds one in the most unusual places, and providence brought me to have a meal at a retro restaurant in Riverside, PA, called Heeter's. Love to try new places, and decided to stop for a meal. There is a walk-up area, but we decided on the dining room. The staff was gracious and accommodating; and I love the fact that the grill was in the restaurant section where you can see the food being prepared and the lingo that goes with it. The portions are big, and I had to arrange a doggie bag for the leftovers. Great place with great ambiance, and Frankie Valli did is wonderful rendition of "RagDoll." Frankie, whenever I am back in the area I will be there...

Well...Good news, bad news type of scenario for the rest of the week @ Brews N BYtes. We're closing today (01/24) after lunch to repair the pipes that burst during that frigid spell a few weeks back. That's from Wednesday 01/24/18 at 2:30 PM onward, reopening on Tuesday the 30th. We think we've found the leaks but we have to turn off the water to the building to get it repaired/replaced. These things are tricky. What looks like a leak appearing some place may actually be originating at another point. So, please, forgive this sudden move. It also hurts us, financially, to close for a few days, but we want to get this done once and for all to avoid future freeze-ups and continue serving our loving public. Insert sad faced emoji... Your friends at Brews N BYtes
This is an excellent find. I stopped by for coffee and stayed a bit extra for the desserts. Everything was great and quite tasty. Price was fair. Service was near-instantaneous, polite, and friendly. The atmosphere is coffee house / modern cafe / casual dining. Nice...MoreThank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed your stop at our home/cafe. My wife is responsible for the food and I'm responsible for the wall decorations...including the toys! Have a great Holiday season and come back soon! Jason from BNB

We were in Danville for a Geisinger visit. The reviews made the place sound great. We started with wings with which I was not impressed. Not terrible but really not to my liking, they were a bit dry and they lacked flavor.
My bacon and bleu butter arrived and I was shocked. The burger was covered in a thin yogurt like white sauce presumably the "bleu", it just ran all over the place. The sauce had no flavor resembling bleu cheese--it really add nothing but a mess. The burger was ordered medium and there wasn't a hint of pink anywhere in the patty. On the bright side, the fries were good and they had malt vinegar on the table.
The service was ok; the server was competent and helpful albeit a bit scarce.
Overall just not a good experience. We were hoping for and expecting more.

Ate dinner here tonight after a day at Knoebels. We were staying at the Hampton Inn across the street and decided we wanted some dinner. They closed the 2 Friendly's that were by our house so this was a no brainer. Good food, good service and awesome ice cream.
