This former Bedouin fishing village is now a popular tourist destination—especially for serious windsurfers, who'll find some of the best conditions in the world off Dahab's beaches. Long known as a laid-back, backpacker-friendly town, Dahab is becoming more developed, yet retains a casual vibe. Finally, Dahab is also home to the Blue Hole, the world's most dangerous dive site. Only very experienced technical divers should attempt passage through "The Arch" here; if you're a novice diver, stay close to the surface. Breakfast was good, many different versions to choose from. We stayed there with a larger group, so they cooked a really good steak for us in a couple of evenings. Restaurant is a cosy place to sit, eat and smoke some shisha in the evenings. We are so delighted by your lovely words. It's really nice to hear words like yours from our beloved guests. Thank you for reviewing us. It was our pleasure to have you here. Best wishes.

Myself an my husband came here for dinner one evening on a recent trip to dahab.
The place as a lovely feel an setting and the menu as much variety.
The staff were pleasant and attentive and the food and prices really good value.
We enjoyed our meals and our time here the only negative was the cats, there was many and when eating its not nice to have them jumping up around you. I will note the staff did everything they could to help with the situation though hence why we gave them full marks still.

Lovely seafront view and delicious lemon juice! A good place for a snack! There was a ‘minimum charge’ sign but they didn’t seem to mind us not eating.

I used to eat at the blue house when it had the nice place on the beach, and when they moved to Asala I also ate there and it was fine, the place is of course worst but the food was still good. Last night I ate there and I had a really bad night, stomach cramps and pain, I feel very sick. I will never go there again.

Shark Restaurant Dahab. Cooking with Love. Serving with a Smile!
Really cool option to go and pick exactly the seafood that you wanted from their selection. Prices were fairly expensive by Egypt standards but compared to Western prices, absolutely bargain!! The service was great, as was the atmosphere and the quality of the food.

During our passed vacation at Dahab, Egypt, we automatically passed several restaurants near the beach. We'll never forget the enthousiast approach and wave of positive energy of 'Smiley', who invited us at "Meya Meya". We accepted his kind offer and entered a hyper cosy Egyptian restaurant, a handmade paradise that breaths a colourful and ultra pleasant athmosphere full of exotic touches and Bedouin accents, a place that makes you directly feeling at home. The central ground fire gives visitors a cosy warmth, cooled down by the waves of the sea and its breeze, and yes! they have a fine taste of music!!! Eating at Meya Meya means returning home with a satisfied stomach and inner human body, a variety of tastes and dishes, all kindly and uniquely served, cooked and created by Smiley and his great team. Don't forget to taste the 'special tea' of local fruits and herbs, that makes the tired body glowing and healing inside! We've visited Meya Meya few times, for their great specialties, and for the gentle and warm connection and we felt with these fantastic people! Don't miss visiting Meya Meya!!! Many Thanks for Smiley and five stars for Meya Meya! Regards, Dennis and Arianne from Belgium

Friends restaurant in Dahab is one of the most famous places with chilly atmosphere and nice food http://friends.dahab.me
We went there, chose our fish (you choose by weight and type) and sat at a nice waterside table waiting for it to arrive. All the soup, salads, etc. are included in this price.
Two of us are vegetarian and we ha lots to chose from, so this was not a problem at all. The fish eaters said their fish was great, as was our meal.

Cozy, welcoming, beautiful coffee shop and restaurant, that roasts its own coffee beans and makes the best coffees ever, serves delicious milkshakes, bakes its pizzas in an Italian stove oven, offers generous servings of pasta dishes, and serves a super tasty homemade banana cake and tantalizing chocolate-banana pancakes - all this in a gorgeous backyard garden-terrace intimate atmosphere where you will really feel at home. (Take away and Delivery also available).
The pizza wasn't late, friendly staff. However, the pizza wasn't that good. It was recommended by a friend but I personally didn't like it that much. The pizza was a bit crusty, it was fine though but I've had better.

Bakes fresh bread and pastry every day, european style.
Seriously the best breakfast I've ever tried in my entire life.
Excellent cappuccino. Excellent Omelettes. Excellent croissants. Excellent variety of bread. Very freshly made.
Definitely very crowded, but that's understandable.
A bit overpriced, but well worth it.
The place closes by 8 PM, so take care.

Great place, close to the shopping walkway, full with local people. Mostly chicken dishes, but they have also pigeon, which is super tasty. It's hard to find free table at dinnertime. Simple place, cheap food in no-frills surroundings.
