I love coming to Spain restaurant because there is a very high level of professionalism, creativity and fresh ingredients when it comes to the menu/food. Only the finest ingredients are used and it shows. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. I’ve had several meals and everything I’ve ever ordered was cooked to perfection. It’s a warm and inviting atmosphere, not stuffy or pretentious. You will not be disappointed!

Our waitress, the Peruvian Camille, advised us to try their special version that night of their Causa Limena which added crab and other unusual things. This was the first plate that was even better than their Cervice Classico. We shared the entree sized Cerviche with a Churasco al Gaucho. For wine, Ali advised us to try their Chilean Calypra Chardonnay..which was a spectacular match for our meal. We had coffee and our tres leches for dessert. Thanks to Diego Curi for seating us, Andrea Curi for her gracious welcome, and my apology to Stephanie for allowing me to switch tables so I could practice my Dominican Spanish. We are eating all of our leftovers for a home dinner tonight.

My family of 4 with kids 15 and 12 had an early dinner here on a Sunday. The place was packed. Located in an outdoor shopping mall, parking is ample and free. We were in town for a hockey tournament. A friend from RI recommended Avvio to us.
My daughter and I loved that we could shop at good stores after our meal.
The atmosphere is casual upscale. Service was excellent all around. The bread basket and garlicy dip were very good. We enjoyed the eggplant appetizer. The pasta was cooked to al dente perfection. I scored this 4 of 5 bubbles because my husband and son said their pastas were bland. I taste tested and agreed. Both dishes, pictured, were missing something. Portions were well-sized for the price
My kids liked the desserts they chose. Overall, this was a pleasant place to dine. I wish everyone in my family enjoyed their meals. We’d try somewhere different if in town again.

From Joseph + Esther DeQuattro of Pane Vino comes the much anticipated Massimo. Massimo brings the quintessential Italian trattoria to Providence’s Federal Hill Neighborhood. Offering a seasonal Italian menu inspired by the regional cuisines of Italy. Signature dishes include Fettuccine alla Carbonara with guanciale and a farm fresh egg, the Fig & Taleggio Pizza, and the House-Aged Rib-eye “Fiorentina.” Located at the gateway to federal hill, Massimo is classically designed to create a warm and lively setting, featuring dark woods and bright pops of yellow. Massimo’s spacious dining room has giant sliding glass doors that lend an al fresco feel to the entire first floor. Upstairs, the glass-enclosed dining room – including a full bar & lounge – make it the perfect place for occasions of all scopes and sizes, whether it’s a quiet night out with friends and family, a corporate team building event, or a boisterous celebration with seating for up to 100 guests. Massimo has unique Italian wines from small boutique Italian winemakers and a cellar selection from Italy, Spain and California. Our approach to wine is accessibility, quality and variety to encourage unfettered enjoyment. Our bar features beers on tap, cocktails, and a large selection of classic Italian amari, grappa and many other Italian liqueurs.
My recent meal at Massimo was hit-and-miss, but mostly everything was fantastic. The Orecchiette con Salsiccia was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had, and the Pollo al Limone was perfectly cooked and flavorful; however, the meal fell flat with the spaghetti carbonara which both came out cold and bland -- other reviews mention issues with the carbonara as well, so I would stay away from it entirely. Also, the caprese special we ordered lacked taste, mainly missing salt. Despite these two dishes, everything else was perfect: the waitstaff was incredibly hospitable and the restaurant's decor makes for an inviting ambiance.

Food was delicious and very fresh! The falafel was crisp and freshly fried, the meat was juicy and flavorful, and all the toppings were fresh tasting. There was little seating but well worth the trip. It was also extremely reasonably priced.

This is our go-to pizza spot - both for dine-in and takeout. They are so generous with their toppings (and have so many choices), everything is always fresh, and everyone is always friendly. We've been coming here ever since we moved to Cranston (and we're kind of pizza snobs...) and recommend it to everyone. Dine-in and takeout equally as good!

Great food, ambiance and service in this medium sized Italian restaurant not far from Interstate 95. Eityhout reservations, you should be prepared to wait, this place is extremely popular and is know through southeastern New Egnald as a great place to dine. Becasue we had reservations for eight people, we were immediately seated, our drink order was taken and on the table within minutes. Thenm the big problem was deciding what to eat on a menu loaded with favorites. I picked the Veal Park, and my wife had a Scallop dish over Fettucini. Both were outstanding and came in huge portions. We then splurged with a piece of choclate lava cake. You have to try this place to believe it.

I usually come here for soup take out. Cant beat the pasta fagiol and chicken escarole. But we have become fans of dining in also. Good food, great staff, fun atmosphere. Really cannot say anything we have tried was a fail. Yummo!

Gregg’s is our go to for delicious cakes & pies especially the holidays. Take a look at their offerings and I challenge you to find one that is not good...Death by Chocolate Cake, Apple Pie (seriously 8-10” high!), Lemon Meringue, Carrot Cake (yes carrot cake!) and even the simple White Layer Cake. All delicious with a full cake or pie serving plenty at a family gathering. Better part...you can go in & just buy a slice to go!!!

No matter how often we dine here, it's a dinning experience!!! Not just a "going out to eat " type of experience. We no longer order. We let Umberto and Lia pick the specials of the day for us. No matter what the dish is, there has never been a time when we were not happy and satisfied. This is truly like going back to Sicily!
If you haven't been there, please do yourself a favor, make a reservation ! Regardless of how often we have been here, the incredible enjoyment of the taste and the atmosphere is superb. Umberto and Lia are incomparable!
So is the food. We go no where else to dine! It's truly European ( Sicilian) dining at its best. We absolutely adore this Enoteca!!! If you haven't been here, you haven't dined!
