Stopped for lunch & sought out the Cancun based on TA reviews. Once again, I look like a hero!...food was awesome w/great authentic flavours. Service was a tad slow, but it's a one-person kitchen yanno! Chicken taco's were excellent, and my wife went for taco salad, the one where you can eat the bowl...both meals were perfect. This will become a regular stop when in Cranbrook!

Saw a tiny ad, and was hooked on the word "homemade". They have fresh baked goods, soups, bakery items, perogies, cabbage rolls, breakfasts, etc. The servings were HUGE, and prices very reasonable. The food was terrific and memorable. The only negative is that it is privately owned, so they have limited opening hours, something like 9am to 4pm. Located downtown, and worth finding it!

Had pizza the night we stayed in Cranbrook. The restaurant was close to our hotel. It is in a small strip mall but easy to find. The pizza was very good - a bit thicker than we normally like pizza but a good crust and...MoreHello Ed, and thanks for your great review. We're glad your experience with us was a good one, and we do hope you dine with us again soon.

The staff that were encountered were great. Atmosphere? Depends where you're seated. Offered to us was a table in a corner, by the fireplace. Sound cozy? Hardly! A tacky imitation fire below a big screen TV. That was so bad; also, it was in the lounge. Other seats in the house seemed fine but there are smaller tables in the middle of the room, in the restaurant side (vs. lounge side). Salad and wine were excellent. Pasta, not so much so and relates to title of this review. It's been a few years since we last ate at Frank's and I recall that on those instances I felt that constructive critique would be to reduce the quantity and pick up the quality. I regret that the same situation exists today. On the plus side, you'll leave with a full belly.

The last time I was here my review reflected a disappointment in the service. I have recently visited Hotshots for supper and breakfast. My experience during both visits was a great improvement. The staff were friendly, helpful, and prompt. The food was hot, flavourful, and well worth the experience.

The Allegra Restaurant specializes in Mediterranean fine dining with a seasonal changing menu. The open kitchen atmosphere allows patrons to watch the chef prepare meals. An extensive wine, beer and martini list completes a memorable dining experience.
If you are looking to bring someone on a first date, make a reservation at Allergra, it will make a good lasting first impression! Friendly service, cozy atmosphere and priced accordingly.

A group of us stopped in for dinner, after a hard day at the office and weren't impressed by the quality of food, for the price you pay. You are better off going somewhere else, to eat, if you want some quality food!
Mediocre service aswel.

Ok so admit it, you're not exactly expecting the best sushi in Cranbrook. Come to Sakura and you'll be pleasantly surprised. I've been several times and the food is always delicious and beautifully presented, servers are friendly and accommodating, and it's awesome to watch the talented sushi chefs in action at the open kitchen. The sushi here is excellent -- just as good as any sushi I've had in a big city. I always order a Bento box and it's LOTS of food. The booths are the best place to sit. Highly recommended!

We were seated in the sport's bar side which has mini tv screens at most of the tables as well as Big Screens so you can catch the hockey game. The other side of the restaurant is a regular set up
Prices are mid-range and include all you can eat salad and home loaves...

The Spice Hut is an Authentic Indian Restaurant that features popular East Indian Cuisine. Our Chefs all share a great amount of first hand experience with this type of ethnic dining. Each locations has its very own Tandoori Oven, and all of our recipes are made from scratch, providing the richest tastes!
Located in downtown Cranbrook the Spice Hut specializes in East Indian Cuisine. A large clean looking restaurant with lots of free parking available. You have the choice of tables or booths. Our favorite dish was the coconut chicken curry (could have used a couple extra pieces of chicken). We tried the Lamb curry but found our dish very tough. The Chana Masala was a plus and we were very impressed with the tasty naan bread. We got to pick the degree of spiciness. Service was quick and efficient. The cost for the four of us ran $80 plus tip.
