Decor is warm and inviting. Service was impeccable. Our meals were expertly prepared with attention to every detail. Overall not inexpensive, but absolutely worth the price. It gets busy, so reservations are strongly advised. We will most definitely return. We were here for lunch. We suspect dinner would be outstanding.

My wife and I ate supper here on Saturday night. It has a very neighborhood feel to it and the service was excellent. We ordered chicken and scollops and the prices were reasonable. The food was delivered very quickly and was delicious. We got there around 6:00 and it was crowded. They have a large bar area and limited tables, but we were able to get a table quickly. Nice casual pub like atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place for your dining and drinking experience.

Came here to meet up with a friend and had a lovely time. The hostess (maybe the owner?) was so wonderful and our server too! What a super friendly place....adorable inside too! Had the Margarita pizza and the Farm Egg pizza....soooooo good. Really delicious and I am dreaming about that pizza now! The Caesar salad was great too...perfect amount of dressing. I really cannot say enough about this place except GO! Don't miss it!

We have gone to Wimpy's many times and always been pleased. Tonight six of us went for the very special twin lobster dinner at $23.99. Our reservations were honored, the waitress was charming and knowledgeable, and the lobsters were delicious. The presentation was very attractive, with two lobsters on lettuce leaves, with lemon slices and drawn butter tucked in between them. Choices of several kinds of potatoes or rice and several vegetables accompanied the lobsters. Between us, we had baked and mashed potatoes, squash, green beans, and beets. All were deemed delicious. A bread basket of rolls and cornbread was immediately presented. The wine list was comprehensive and we chose two different and perfect accompaniments.
The surroundings are perfect New England.

We started with a "cup" of wedding soup in a "bowl". 6 bucks! Soup consisted of some chicken broth with a few veggies and some chuncks of meatloaf. AVOID! The salad was the fresh leafy stuff with a couple of tomatoes. 8 bucks. You decide. The burger was fabulous! But "everything", except lettuce is extra. Fries were very good. The hot fudge sundae was very good, but even splitting it the amount was to large. This restaurant is way over priced and has way under sized portions. The cost exceeded 50 bucks and we left without a take home portion. There are numerous other private and national restaurants that will give you a better bang for your "bucks". Oh yea, the waiter was excellent, but he referred to "Chef", rather than "the chef", which says to me they think of themselves as a high end restaurant, which they are NOT.

Delicious, authentic Italian food, prepared by a chef whose family's culinary history goes back four generations, and served in a charming 18th century Federal style building that is on the National Register of Historic Places: this is one restaurant that Cape Codders and vacationers alike should not miss! Villaggio at the Regatta in Cotuit is Chef Jay Bartolomei's new home for his restaurant, which he originally started in Falmouth in 2005. After successful years on Falmouth's Main Street, and winning New England Cable News TV Diners Gold Plate Award, Chef Jay is now enjoying the ambiance and the history of the Roland Thacher Crocker House on Route 28 in Cotuit. Using only the freshest ingredients, Villaggio offers diners Chef Jay's Italian specialties. Begin your meal with a starter such as Carpaccio - thinly sliced prime tenderloin served with minced red onion, capers and lemon zest with arugula and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, or Calamari Napoletana - lightly breaded squid fried with fresh Italian herbs, tossed with sauteed chopped tomatoes, kalamata olives and sliced banana peppers. Entrees include Chef Jay's Tuscan steakhouse and signature seafood dishes. Try Seafood Zingarella - lobster meat, jumbo shrimp and sea scallops sauteed with asparagus, artichoke hearts and sun-dried tomatoes, simmered in a Sambuca cream sauce served over pasta, or maybe pork osso buco, or a filet mignon. For your insalata course, try the caprese with mesclun greens, fresh mozzarella and tomato slices seasoned with salt and fresh ground black pepper topped with fresh basil, tricolored bell peppers, red onions and sliced banana peppers drizzled with an extra virgin olive oil. Looking for a more casual spot to share fun speciality drinks and fine wine with friends? The Tavern within Villaggio at the Regatta offers a relaxing and charming atmosphere. Villaggio will tailor the event - whether it's a wedding shower or rehearsal dinner, birthday party, business celebration, or special family dinner - to suit your wishes. -The Enterprise
Four good friends stopped by Villaggio to celebrate a special event. When we heard the a certain pianist was playing, we called ahead and told the hostess we were fans and made an early reservation in the tavern room. We arrived at 615 and were put at a table around a corner where we could neither see nor hear John play. We waited 25 minutes to place a drink order and after that, the service was atrocious. The waitress would disappear. To make matters worse, the pianist took a "break" after 10 minutes and never played again while we were there. We will not return to this place again.
