Last Saturday our family enjoyed a wonderful belated Christmas dinner at Krista's. Lots of local brews on tap and many interesting offerings on the menus. We started with Thai mussels and requested extra orders of bread to sop up the delicious sauce. Also had the hot andcheesy stuffed mushrooms. Yummy ! Everyone was very pleased with their entree choices. I had the seared scallops on braised spinach and mashed sweet potatoes with beets...all of my favorite foods. Portion was large so I took half home. Our waitress, Michelle, was terrific! Attentive but not hovering. Exactly how you want your waitstaff . Thanks for a wonderful family dinner and experience.

We were en route to the coast of Maine when we stopped here, having promised ourselves and our grandkids donuts on the way. (We had left central New Hampshire very early in the morning.) This was one of the first Dunkin' Donuts we encountered. It was busy and the staff was fairly patient with all of our donut selections, but I do think they could have been a bit more friendly and welcoming. A downside which was certainly not the staff's fault was that there was quite a line for the restroom. There was only one and it was a one-person type.

China Garden reminds me of a NYC neighborhood Chinese takeout joint. It is not fancy but the food is tasty and well prepared. The fried dumplings were plump and the sauce had a nice ginger flavor. The main dishes were flavorful as well, with the Kung Pao pork being appropriately spicy and the chicken with vegetables milder but still tasty. Compared to the Chinese restaurants in North Conway (like Peking), the food at China Garden is far superior.

In rural Maine in March, as always, this local landmark is packed! The food is reliable and reasonably priced. This is a picture of the newly remodeled bar. Great food, portions, and service are the reputation of this restaurant, and our personable server was a bonus.

They have a nice little place there. The staff is nice and the ice cream and especially brownie sundae is amazing!

This is a wonderful small italian restaurant, it has been in business along time. People are friendly, service excellent and food and pricing excellent, will definately continue to go back, this is also a great restaurant to dine compared with all the competition in the area for italian cuisine.

New within the past 6 months. Replaces Kitchen Wonders.
I had a Rueben sandwich and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I would definitely go back and try other things on the menu.

Last evening we had a party of 12 for dinner. They did a great job getting us seated together considering we didn't have reservations, extremely busy on Friday nights. The food was top notch and all came out at the same time which I thought was impressive. The service is always the best, everybody was very helpful. We will definitely be going back.

The Inn in Cornish has a lovely restaurant and a small, friendly, horseshoe-shaped bar.
We always enjoy having a drink there and a bite to eat. (We live in a nearby town)
My husband and I like it that the portions are reasonable (i.e. not huge) and the dishes taste very much like home cooking. Had wonderful stews, pasta, pot roast, bruschettas. Great deserts too.
If you travel through Cornish, have a walk through town and up High Street for some views and polish it off with a drink and dinner at the Cornish Inn. (Check on website if they're open)
