Closed for the season. Will reopen late November. Thank you for a great Summer. It was a pleasure to have been at your service.
We had stopped in for a quick sugar fix and this little place worked out great! They have a table outside, which allowed us to get our dog out of the car too, as we had just come from Yellowstone Park. Inside it is small, but there were some locals there with their coffee and sweets. I couldn't resist the berry/lemon coffee cake. It was moist and delicious. They had a variety of 'danish' and it was well displayed in this nice clean bakery.

The food is mediocre and the service is just OK.
Our biggest complaint is that there are no french fries or hash browns, you get potato chips with your sandwich or burger. Who does that nowadays? Tourist Traps, that's who!
My wife thought her burger was below average. My chicken sandwich was disgusting and dry. Who puts a hamburger bun on a chicken sandwich in 2017? Should have had a whole wheat bun or Kaiser roll.
Avoid this place and go to "Pilot's Perk" instead.

Coffee Shop, Breakfast and Lunch Sandwiches for Dine-in or Togo, Soups and Salads.
I was SO pleasantly surprised to find Pilot's Perk in Cooke City! The coffee is AMAZING and the building is rustic charm at its most authentic. I felt so welcome and like my business was really appreciated! Loved the coffee too. Perfectly made and utterly delicious!

Our meals are homemade, right in our 1937 log cabin kitchen. We uphold a longstanding tradition; creating wholesome and delicious dishes from only the most pure and nourishing ingredients. Many of our ingredients come from right here in Montana, like our famous Beartooth Burger, made from beef raised in the shadow of the Beartooth plateau. Our ingredients recall home cooking of the past, when folks gathered to share authentic dishes from nearby sources. Like the meals we all might have tasted at grandmother’s table years ago, the Log Cabin serves a feast of fresh, hearty and delicious flavors! For Yellowstone explorers seeking real recipes to fuel their passionate wilderness quests— weary of finding only overcooked, overpriced, brown glob, masquerading as a meal— the Log Cabin offers simple, nutrient-dense meals that surprise the senses. Your sources are sustainable and local rising to the hope of national parks to preserve nature for future generations. And our magical original log dining room soothes modern stressors. Unchanged since 1937— rooted deep like that dense pine forest sheltering us— the Log Cabin and its savory meals have been a timeless treasure for decades.
The breakfast at Log Cabin is outstanding. Very generous portions of great tasting food. The Pumpkin Bread is the best! Don't miss out on that. We bought a whole life and had it for breakfast the next 2 days. What a treat.

Miners Saloon is a full service bar with exceptional food. We have everything from burgers to pizzas to epic Sunday BBQs with steaks and trout. More information, menus and photos of our food can be found on our facebook page, facebook dot com/MinersSaloonCookeCity.
We had a great dinner at this restaurant. I had low expectations going in but the food was excellent. We had the sliders as an appetizer and my son and I shared a pizza for the meal. It was great. My wife enjoyed a salad. I had one of the local beers to top it all off. A good meal.

The absolute best shakes and friendly chat at no extra charge. We stopped in June and October, but in all honesty, it's quite far to drive for those of us who live in Connecticut. We are hoping that maybe Cheryl will bring us one on her drive to RI/Maine this fall.

Making sandwiches and ice cream this season.
The cafe only offers carry out although there are some picnic tables outside that you can eat on. Very small menu that varies throughout the week usually a sandwiches and pasta and sometimes pie. Had a very good BLT here. Easy to pick up food here and take it back to your room.

This restaurant was recommended by the clerk at the nearby gas station and we were glad that we followed her recommendation. Three of our party had great sandwiches and fries and one person had a good salad. Service was friendly and we enjoyed the mountain decor. We would be happy to eat here again.

Not sure where the wide range of reviews are coming from which could have influenced our enjoying dinner here while spending the evening at the Lodge but are happy we decided to relax with fellow patrons in the bar watching football, sharing sightseeing experiences and dining on good food. Not 4-5 star presentation for sure but well-cooked, down home grub. Bar and food service by the young bartender was fabulous and he worked his fanny off keeping all of us satisfied. Wife had the ground round plate and I had one of best pork chops on a bed of cabbage that I have ever enjoyed. Big portions and succulent thick pork chop. Fries appeared to be fresh cut and were mouth-watering. Salads were fresh but dressings seemed to be out of the bottle. Might be an issue to some but not us. This is down home cooking in a small town just outside the park nestled in beautiful natural scenery, not New York City. If you're stopping in town, do drop in. You will not be disappointed.

The BBQ grill and smoker were sitting on the front porch - the smell was very good so we stopped it. Leo is cranky and has absolutely no people skills. He is downright rude. He was doing the BBQ grill. Cigarette in one hand and beer in the other. No apron, dirty clothes and no gloves. Never washed his hands the whole time we were there. Place was crowded and service was very slow at best. Restaurant is run down and not the cleanest. Portions were small and flavor was ok. Jan was polite and tried hard. Other options in town are better.
