I'm totally open for little dive place and this one took the cake in that respect. After reading the reviews on here I will say this,, I did NOT experience any rude staff members. However, their dress code policy I think is too extreme for what this place looks like and actually is. The entire place looks like someones living room with about 10 to 12 tables total. There were a plate of Sardines out in the open on a book self away from the so called antipasto table. The prices looked very steep as well. We were there one night in early November, I guess the 11th or 12th and there was a table inside that was SO loud we just had to leave. I can understand the children rule but if you have Adults acting worse than children than perhaps you need to address tables like this before you even THINK about putting up ANY rules about dress codes or children!! I got news for you, we weren't the only table there that night that were upset by these clowns who were cursing and just flat out ZERO respect for anyone in the room.. the table behind us were saying the same thing to us as well as we were leaving. Like I said we left and did not have dinner so I can say anything on the quality of the food. Perhaps you should think about expanding and make the house bigger because its way to small for what your doing. again I DID NOT experience any rude staff members but I really think you need to look at your policies for guests.... You cant even put down below,, ""is this restaurant Family friendly"" Because its not....... If you do not reply that's ok. If you do I have to wait a month to reply back to you and i WILL do so. Good luck

This is our second visit. ..our first visit was not any better than the first but it is a local place and it deserves a second shot...the service is extremely slow and they have very little from which to choose. They have high school kids running the place ... hire a barista away from Starbucks that has learned efficiency and this place will realize some effectiveness. They forgot our order...but they did apologize and make it right. This place has potential but needs a manager

We got a recommendation for this restaurant from an employee at The Hotel Conneaut and are glad we did. My friends and I stopped in on a Friday morning for breakfast. The place was already pretty crowded which meant to us that the food must be good. And it was...delicious! I had a three egg and ham omelet which was huge, but I did manage to eat it because it was that good. My friends had fried eggs with either bacon and homefries or hashbrowns and they said it was the best bacon they had ever had. One of my friends had the coney dog which she also said was very good. Our waitress was very, very personable and we felt the prices were a good deal for the amount of food that you got.

Our first impression was not good. The hostess staff left alot to be desired. She told us it would be 35 minute wait, it was a holiday. We took a seat at the bar. Noticed she started seating people who did not have reservations. Went to her station, she quickly said we were next. Our waitress, Grace, was super. She was gracious, smiling and very attentive. She should truthfully be called, Amazing Grace. It has been a long time since we have had a waitress who was this great. The views were good, and best of all the food was good. Did not appreciate the hostess staff peaking around the corner every few secods seeing who was almost finished with their meals Otherwise, outstanding..

Great food, friendly and fast service, clean, and reasonably priced!
This place has been under several different owners. The current owner knows what she is doing! If you've been there before and have been disappointed as we were, give it another try. We were pleasantly surprised and have been going back every weekend since. Enjoy!

Been in the area for 10 years and decided to give it a try. Should’ve gone sooner. Open year round. Non smoking. Clean. Wait staff very friendly and attentive. You have to be careful when ordering things other than a beer at some of the local places but not here. They make an excellent dirty martini. Bar atmosphere - nothing pretentious. Pizza, soups, sandwiches, burgers, prime rib - all very good. Good for family, friends casual dining. Will definitely return again and again.

Tink's Subs has moved from downtown Conneaut Lake, PA, and now is based in the back of Al's Melons. It features wonderful local meats and cheeses, fresh salads and produce, with some one always on hand to advise what is available and favored.
Lots of local flavor, and Amish condiments available in the store.

stopped here as it was the only place open at lunch time that had cars outside of it in the area when we were traveling. Its nothing fancy, but it was clean and the sandwiches and fries were great. they had different flavorings that you cold get for the fries and the cinnamon ones were delicious. it has a pinball machine and several pool tables and the staff was very friendly. the only issue for us is that being from Ohio we have gotten used to all establishments being smoke free, and this one was not. smoke seemed to be limited to the bar area so wasnt so bad in the dining room section, but for those sensitive to the smoke it is still noticeable. we enjoyed it however and would go back if we were in the area.

We have recently taken our grandkids to this subway. The food was good , the atmosphere, was very nice. The service was outstanding ! There was a very nice young man there that seemed to be full of life and happiness and he let it show in his job. It was refreshing to be waited on by someone that didn't seem to hate his job. It makes a big difference and you feel welcome.
