The food at Le Dellys is not only delicious, it is presented like a work of art. Having said that, it is a very generous portion, unlike many places where the food is wildly overpriced for the amount they serve, which, even if it is a lovely picture, is no good when you are hungry! I went late on a Sunday afternoon and they still served me, even though the chef was due to finish work. The staff were truly delightful. Other diners were locals who were obviously very used to going there for celebratory meals - always a reassuring sign. The décor was pretty and everywhere was immaculate. I do have a funny story about the place though. I went to the loo before leaving, and washing my hands the lights went out. When I came out I was locked in the restaurant and all the staff had left. Searching for a way out, and without luck, I had to move the table and chairs from in front of the emergency exit and leave by that door. I guess the staff will always wonder how on earth that table and chairs got moved when there was no other sign of anyone entering the restaurant. I would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

We had again dinner in "DE WATERKANT". Nice place to enjoy good and fresh food. The Lady of the House and her staff are very friendly, professional and helpfull. Lots of local folks. The renovation of the Leie river banks will be finished soon what will make this place even more enjoyable especially on the Terrace during a sunny day. Inside we enjoyed the warmth of the old house, renovated with a modern touch.

I'm repeating my positive opinion formulated in 2012. Weather allowed us to have lunch in the garden, which has a wonderful overview over the silent hills of the tiny stretch of Hainault that is strictly bilingual, i.e., the Comines-Warneton or Komen-Waarden region. Being the only lunch guests, we got top service from the owners. Duck meat products is the specialty, and a - not unimportant - advantage for having lunch there, is that you may circumvent the - rather restricted - opening hours of the shop, which features among others rillettes and magret de canard.

L'Auberge is situated just opposite Ploegsteert Memorial to the Missing, it is a fully licensed restaurant and bar. We can serve a light lunch as, sandwiches Omelettes, toasts etc. Or a full meal.L'Auberge is also the ideal place to start a tour of the Bttlefields. We are open every day from 11am and are resting on Monday afternoon and Tuesday.
Popped in after visiting the memorial and loved this place. Lovely lady serving was very informative about the history of the area and gave us great ideas for our trip. You must try the Chouffe coffee here, very good. Recommended.Thank's a lot for the nice review. I am very glad you enjoyed the place. Nelly.

If you wanna feel cozy atmosphere of Belgium, taste delicious pancakes or meet nice and cheerful people, you should absolutely visit Fleur de Sel. This place will make your journey unforgetable and the prettiest smell of cappuchino made by charming mistress will make you return again and again.

Very good grill restaurant. They have a great choice of food they cook on the grill, like pig sausages, duck filet, salmon, ... this kind of choice You don't find easily. Also the classics like côte à l'os, steak, lamb chops, chickenfilet of course. Nice salad also, very tasty sauces, good garlic butter (home made). Friendly and polite staff. Good portions, they don't have starters but if You see the size of Your main course You're glad You haven't eaten a starter. This makes the bill also positive: full belly at a nice price because it's only a main course Yoy pay. Will come back again.

we only had dinner there once and it is quite some time ago.
i indicated below june 2015 but i guess it was more like 2013 or 2014.
i remember the food was not bad but the service was very very slow and all together it was not that cheap at all.
overall ok but no waw feeling
