Breakfast & Lunch 7 days a week! Fast, Fresh, Friendly Cafe in the heart of downtown Comfort, Texas. Soup, Salads, Sandwiches. Full espresso bar, great coffee, wine by the glass, draft beer. Fresh made baked goods and sorbet. Retail store offers Wine, Beer, Books, Texas Hill Country Sundries
Dropped in for a late lunch on a Saturday. Not very busy at 2 pm but I can guess service gets pretty slow in a rush so don't expect fast food at noon. But several major comments. First, this place is exceptionally clean. Impressively clean! Second, the food we had was quite good. We shared the outstanding Hoppin John (soup) and a very good pair of High Hot Dogs with a very good potato salad. Overall our assessment was a rather limited menu very well executed. We would definitely go back.

What a great variety in a neat building. Very friendly staff. Great looking pies but it was too early in the day for us to try any. I would not classify this store as a restaurant as it is more of a shop than a food vendor.

Specialty coffee bar including fresh baked goods with gluten free options, breakfast, lunch, smoothies, assortment of organic teas and more.
I have been here several times and always wonderful. This is really, really great coffee. Try it, you will like your gourmet coffee in Comfort. Have not tried their pastries but lots of people do. Will have to try one on my next visit. They certainly do coffee right.

Valentine's Day brought us to a new "exquisite" tiny eatery in Comfort TX: Lani's Cheesecakes & Coffee House on Hwy 27 was a surprise & a delight! The brisket/grilled cheese sandwich was mouth-watering good...and that was before we had the triple chocolate cheese cake! Victor and his daughter Lani supply amazing dishes/cakes/flan while wife & mum Diana manages decor and customer service with a huge smile.
Very small, plan or call ahead...so worth it!!

After reading previous reviews, we decided this was a "must" place. We were not disappointed! The food was exceptional and the service was outstanding! A word to the wise: be sure and make reservations. The capacity is not that large and we observed many potential diners that were turned away.

This DQ is typical of the franchise. Gone through some recent refurbishing on outside.
We live nearby and frequent it on regular basis. Food quality and service decent. Seems staff turnover pretty steady but doesn't seem to hurt much.
Does decent business with locals despite several new fast food places coming in during past couple years.

We eat here often despite that the place is dirty; run down; waitstaff is not particularly friendly and follow-up service is basically non-existent once you have your food; we have actually seen roaches--yes really and truly and more than one--even had a waitress squish one with her shoe and then apologize that we had to see that! Yet we continue to eat there because the salsa and food (cheese enchilada's, puffy taco's, quesadilla's) is some of the best.

Manny's has great food, a casual setting, and, quick service. A "diner" atmosphere which serves a variety of choices, but, we always opt for the Tex-Mex. Hot & fresh, what more could you ask for at this neighborhood hideaway? .Also, the place is CLEAN, which makes a huge difference in our opinion and prompts our many return trips. No liquor/beer served,, but, you can bring your own, which is always a nice option. If you are looking for just plain ole good food, give it a try.

If you are tired of high priced meals in Comfort, come here for reasonably priced, good comfort food. Our party enjoyed hamburgers, salads, chicken, shrimp, and fried cod. It was all good. The atmosphere is typical Texas cafe. The service was friendly and adequate.
