It's a great place for good food. The pizza is out of this world. I love their subs and of course their pasta dishes are the best too.
When we go in everyone knows my daughter and it feels like a family.
Great family place to eat.

This downtown pub is always busy but the wait is usually short. Staff is well trained and food is above average for pub food and as New Englanders we have to admit that the clam chowder is excellent. Gluten free rolls are available. Excellent entertainment on Thursday nights.

I ordered a grilled chicken salad sandwich and when it came out it had cranberries in it. I can't stand the taste of cranberries so I scraped the chicken salad onto the plate and ate around them. The menu just said "homemade chicken salad". It should have added "made with cranberries". I would never have ordered it if they had. The homemade chips that came with my sandwich were either overcooked or greasy and under cooked.
My husband had the sliced beef brisket sandwich and mashed potatoes. He shared his with me and both were very good. They also had a good selection of BBQ sauces to choose from.
The place was very clean with the tables spaced a good distance apart and our server was very attentive.

I met a friend I had not seen in a long while here for lunch. The place was full, but the service was quick and friendly. The food was very tasty and the baked goods, especially the almond cookies and chocolate cracked cookies were wonderful. Even though they were very busy, we we're not made to feel rushed and allowed to "visit". Because of this first very pleasant experience, we returned the next week for cookies!

This shop has the best ice cream around. We drive 30 minutes to get there when we want ice cream. We have not found anyone else offering the Hershey brand. The fruit flavors are especially rich.

Stopped by to check out Open Road for a tour group I have coming up in May. Pleasant surprise at how helpful and competent the staff was. Offered suggestions for house-made sweets as well as strong coffee knowledge. (pun). Nika was very friendly and genuinely interested in making guests happy.

Situated just slightly off the main street of downtown Landrum, Southside Smokehouse is more than the name suggests. Though great barbecue is a staple of our menu we also offer burgers, steaks, Cajun/Creole cuisine and now our new locally sourced, globally inspired menu from chef Sarah McClure. Featuring items like cripsy pork loin Milanese with cilantro rice, orange salsa, and smoked paprika crema and the "Figgy Pig," Landrum's new favorite sandwich with smoke pork loin, ham, arugula, fontina cheese and local figs on crusty French bread. We offer a full bar with many daily drink specials.
I always have the mussels and they do not disappoint. Lots of them and delicious broth to sop up with the included toasted bread. My husband orders the autumn salad with grilled chicken on top and he loves it.

Driving from the Charlotte airport to Hendersonville, our group of three got hungry. We got off the highway at Columbus, not knowing what to expect. We stopped in the area of Southern Manners where there were 2-3 restaurants. When we saw the word "deli" on their sign, we decided to try it. We were surprised and pleased with the sandwiches we selected - fresh ingredients, tasty and reasonably priced. Definitely an unexpected find.

Stone Soup is a casual fine dining establishment focused on hospitality and community. Nestled in the Carolina foothills of Landrum, South Carolina our restaurant is surrounded by beauty. Just as many regulars as visitors pass through our doors and each one is treated like family. If you're looking for a few drinks with friends, a dinner with the family, or a quiet date Stone Soup is here to cater to you.
5 friends and I had dinner at Stone Soup last week and what a special meal it was for all of us. GREAT service and outstanding food for everyone.
The restaurant itself is interesting in a totally good way...maybe a home converted into a restaurant? Different levels of dining areas so never a feeling of the restaurant feeling crowded even though every table was occupied. Recommend making reservations!
The menu had a lot of variety and there was something for everyone even for those on restricted diets. A friend and I shared the apple and walnut salad and the mushroom lasagna (highly recommend!) and both were excellent. Everyone else in our party had high praises for what each of them had.
Our server, John, was attentive, made excellent recommendations, and blended right in with the good mood and vibe of our group.
Prices were quite reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the food.
There is a covered and attractive outdoor eating area for those who prefer fresh air. Live, quiet music started as we were leaving. There's ample free parking.
A number of things on the menu are available in a refrigerator / freezer near the entrance to purchase and take home. They also cater.
Our friend who took us to Stone Soup goes there regularly and said that their experience there has consistently been good and that they've never been disappointed with the food or service in any way.
Looking forward to going back to Stone Soup when I'm back in the Landrum area!
