Dog friendly. Lunch 12-2pm. Blackboard for specials. Vegetarian was spinach and ricotta pasta with garlic bread £9.90
Another was vegetable gratin just under £9
We also ordered scampi. We mentioned that extra garlic would be appreciated and this was duly done. Thanks! All meals were duly dispatched to hungry stomachs. One hot sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream too was also ate with pleasure. A relaxed air and friendly staff help make this place a very satisfactory place to pop into.

Superb fish and chips
Popped in a few weeks ago for some chips to munch whilst walking around the lovely harbour of Eyemouth. The lasting impression I got of this average chippy was how miserable and unfriendly the staff were. I can understand it's not the greatest of jobs but is it really that difficult to crack a smile or seem even remotely interested in you the person who is paying your wages. I asked for a drizzle of ketchup but the heavy handed lass behind the counter drowned my poor chips making them pretty much inedible. Will I return? no I will go to Giacopazzi's instead as the chips are nicer and so are the staff.

I have a cottage just in the next village of Coldingham so am often in Eyemouth to shop. We always lunch at the Sole. The scampi in tempura batter is a revelation for those of you used to over breaded frozen stuff. Come here and be spoiled for a measly £ 8 or so for this and chips and salad. A treat. Haddock also fresh off the boats. Lovely roomy restaurant upstairs and cosy bar down. Great friendly welcome dogs too!

As a solo female traveller it was great to be made so at ease with friendly staff and locals made me feel welcome too. I had the charred steak with peppercorn sauce which was delicious...the chips were proper chips... hand cut reminded me of my mum's :) location really chilled and I slept well. Thanks will be back...next time will try rhubarb and ginger gin...only another 36 to work my way through!

We are open everyday for lunches in our restaurant with stunning sea views. Recently updated, our restaurant is warm and inviting with a family friendly atmosphere. Our staff aim to accommodate to every need as best they can with positive, helpful attitudes. Take away is also available for those who can't drag themselves off the beautiful bay! St Vedas is a family run business overlooking the beautiful Coldingham Bay in the Scottish Borders, perfectly located if you are looking for a relaxing break or looking for a more active time. The location is popular with family holidays, walkers, divers, surfers, bird watchers, golfers and fishing enthusiasts.
A lovely location next to Coldingham beach . Coldingham is off the beaten track but we are both local and use the beach regularly
We decided to have lunch at the hotel and a pint . The bar overlooks the beach with great view. The bar has its own lager very novel Coldingham Lager very nice.the menu had a reasonable selection of options and at reasonable prices
Attentive staff and food arrived hot and was tasty

Local cafe offering homemade fresh local caught seafood ,baked potatoes, panini and sandwiches, homemade cakes and tray bakes and always a warm welcome,we look forward to your visit.
My OH loves Cullen skink, so wherever we go, he tries it if it is on the menu. He also loves chowder and has tried it all over USA where he used to live. so fish soup is his thing.
The Cullen Skink was declared as good as any he has ever tried. High praise indeed!
Me I just had the onion soup which was perfectly fine and enjoyed it. Nice touch to bother to warm and crisp up the bread rolls even though they were very busy.
Excellent coffee, and nice drizzle cake with blueberries.
The fish and chips which went floating past to another table looked amazingly good, next time.....
Also they are dog friendly which is an added bonus.
Very friendly service, definitely will be back.
