The Lambuth Inn Dining Hall serves all-you-can-eat buffet-style meals. The decor is inspired by the inn's rich history, and the waitstaff are friendly and welcoming. Come enjoy delicious meals in this unique dining hall, which is located steps away from beautiful Lake Junaluska.
The buffet was excellent. The service was perfect. The wait staff anticipated our needs, without hovering. The decorations were stunningly beautiful. Kudos to the entire staff that had a hand in creating such a festive atmosphere. Perfect place for groups or families. The price was excellent also.

Stopped in for a coffee and hot chocolate for my daughter so I'm rating based more on service and atmosphere than food. Although I got a slice of quiche which was good and it was served with a bowl of fresh fruit slices. They had a pretty decent menu for lunch...paninis, salads. I would definitely go back to try. The ambiance was awesome. Located in the historic Frog Level of Waynesville, Panacea is a large, open, renovated warehouse next to railroad tracks. Lots of seating, including table seating and conversational sitting areas with sofas. Outdoor seating too. You order and pick up your order at the counter and bus your own table. Very casual, comfortable.

New cafe in the old Walmart plaza near Waynesville, NC. Outstanding southern comfort foods featuring fresh and locally grown foods. Excellent service, food quality and value for the money. Currenlty open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Closed on Saturdays.
It was a cold Friday evening when we decided to again visit one of our favorite restaurants, The Blue Rooster. We took advantage of this restaurant's call ahead seating program and when we arrived the crowds were gathering. After about a 10 minute wait we were seated. Our waitress, Ellie (who is the beautiful daughter of owners Mary and Steve), promptly greeted us and took our drink orders while she explained the night's specials. We had brown bagged in a bottle of red wine and without being asked, Ellie brought our drinks and wine glasses along with a wine bottle opener. Friday night is Steve's special rubbed prime rib, and in my opinion is the best in Haywood county. I ordered the small 10 ounce portion medium rare and asked Ellie that it be put on the grill a few minutes to warm it up. My wife ordered the other special, the captain's seafood platter. Both specials came with soup or salad and one side dish. Although the restaurant was crowded, our orders were delivered in a short time and were cooked to perfection. If you order the prime rib, be sure to ask for Steve's special course ground horseradish sauce. Dinner was perfect and we both were too full to experience some of Mary's famous coconut cake for desert. One reason the Blue Rooster is such a popular spot - good food and good hospitality!

We have visited many small breweries across the country. This is a most stop. The staff was friendly, brew assume, and the small cafe offered good snacks and sandwiches. I enjoyed the Chile, while the Cajun poor boy was well received.

Here at the Haywood Smokehouse we do things the old way, sometimes the hard way to deliver to you a unique and authentic Smokehouse experience.
Thought we would come back and try this restaurant again since we had just tried a new rib restaurant in Maggie Valley-just a few miles away.
Oh their pulled pork is excellent! Generous amounts of this well pulled apart meat with luscious pieces of that great dark “bark”! Needless to say, they will still have our business! Yum!
(But could you please bring back you delicious fried potatoes? Please)?

Home of the warm waffle cone! We have over 40 hand dipped flavors to choose from. We are an old fashioned hand-dipped ice cream emporium. Made to order warm waffle cones (vanilla or cinnamon). Cones, sundaes, shakes, malts, and banana splits. We also make made to order ice cream cakes. Ask about our Birthday Party Packages! Many options to choose from, including coffee, ice cream, pin the tail on the donkey, a magician, and renting the space!
The ice cream was mediocre for the price and the dog in the parlor didn’t add to the taste. The worker didn’t provide a solution by letting the dog stay. The owner of the dog said if we didn’t like it, to go back to FL. WELCOME to Waynesville! Guess there are other parlors.

I would drive back to Waynesville just to eat in this restaurant again. Although very crowded (popular), the service was great and the food came quickly. Don't forget to check out the dessert case in the front!

We made this a planned stop on our way to Asheville. We wanted to buy local. Good choice! Clean, efficient, great service and the caramel, mocha iced, blended can give SB some competition! We had "The Works" omelet, tasty! It's a do over!

Due to freezing rain on the highway we decided to stay the night at Americas Best Value Inn and Sagebrush was within walking/skating distance. Extremely nice staff, particularly the bartender and assistant general manager. The filet was cooked perfectly medium rare and the sides were perfect. Couldn't have asked for more!

Smoky Mountain Sub Shop has been serving the Waynesville area for over 20 years. Come in and enjoy our great subs and relaxed casual atmosphere.
Surrounded by antiques, some for sale. The smell of the many foods they served was intoxicating. No table service. You get your own drinks. Very popular with locals and tourists alike.
Bread was so good and fresh. I got the meatball sandwich, which if it was not so good, I could not have finished it. Very generous.
Lots of seating on two levels. Just off the main shopping street.
