Stopped with my husband driving back from a family visit. I had the roast beef & salad. Very tasty, though I would've preferred the sandwich warm with melted cheese. My husband had the chicken sandwich on naan. Also delicious, and the peanut butter pie is very tasty with a wonderful fresh chocolate crust.

If you're looking for a good standard breakfast in a relaxed, quiet, smoke-free cafe in Clinton, this one does it.
We were driven out of one cafe in Clinton because of the cigarette smoke pervading the whole place. 109 on the square was obviously packed from the number of cars outside. We spied a small cluster of cars and trucks across the square and wandered into the Daylight Donuts.
The one woman running the whole operation did a great job of taking orders at the counter and preparing standard breakfasts--eggs to order, hashbrowns, bacon, for example. She also served coffee refills, bussed the tables and took the cash and checks for the meals. No credit cards are accepted--cash or check, only.
Several people were enjoying a leisurely breakfast; many others came in for take-out donuts. The walls have interesting displays, including ribbon-winning needlework.

Ok, I know it's a Gas Station ⛽️, but not so fast it sells so much more, they have great fried chicken and fish and on certain days Gyros which are also very good . Baskins Robbins Ice Cream is also served inside, right next door to the Library and you can get your beer before you head to the lake.

We are not conisours but thought this restaurant was great. Chips were good even after they cooled. Ordered wine. When I didn't like it they gave me a different kind and didn't charge for the first. Each of us had a combo plate, was not greasy and lots of meat. The tamales were the best I've ever had.

Good counter service, REALLY cold Blizzards. There is a touching plaque on the wall from an Army SSG that this DQ supported in Afghanistan. The cleanliness of the bathrooms was not impressive.

The family really loves this spot in town! I have never been disappointed with service or servers. The salad is amazing with the ranch dressing and large enough to either split with someone or take home. The pizza is delicious and because it's SO good we never have any when we leave.

Stopped for lunch here on our return from a week in Branson, Mo. There were 4 of us and we all had the fried chicken special
Th meal was delicious and included a dinner roll that was a meal all by itself. Well worth the effort to locate this place.

Seems to mostly be a spot for locals, we happened upon this by chance. Lucky for us! The restaurant is on the town square so plenty of free parking. Very casual place that serves breakfast all day long. We were there on a Saturday, so they had a special on Prime Rib and Boiled Shrimp. (Fridays, too!). Came with plenty of food--potato, vegie and the salad bar--and served up hot and fresh. I had the shrimp. They were great! I like to dip mine and butter and they were happy to oblige. Hubby had the prime rib. He thought it was good, but maybe a bit salty. Topped it all off with a couple of Boulevard Ales on tap. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Food and beverages were brought out quickly. We enjoyed our visit.

We will sometimes get a couple of burgers to go. My husband likes the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger, and I always get the Jack and Bleu burger. The burgers are substantial, well cooked and served with a choice of homemade fries or chips.
